Hi Robbie, my husband caught the guys out on the road in our neighborhood cutting tree limbs away from powerlines and mulching them up. He asked them if we could have some of the Mulch. HE said yes and he dumped 1 load so far. 😊❤
How lucky are you, I've been waiting about ten years for some free wood chips - they don't like to give anything away in Australia - probably won't be here in another ten. We usually have to go out and buy some, oh well that's life isn't it?
I have potatoes growing in my livingroom A first time thing got a bunch of red potatos that have sprouted so just had to try, never grown them before they were planted 15th of Nov. looking forward to seeing what I get. I'll let you know what happens A Merry Christmas to you both
Love the plan for the dog kennels. I need some of those . My neighbor has Guianies that get into my yard and garden. My grandbaby girl has 3 chickens and a cat .
Great idea to use the tall containers for water fountains/features! Still have the rodent problem, but it’s getting better with the tulle and wire baskets. The only drawback now is the compost bin - the birds like to go in there to pick around but so do the rodents. Will have to think on that one 🤔 Enjoy your weekend - your “greenrooms “ are coming along nicely!

I was about to give up on my hummingbird, but it showed up on Oct. 30. Its was a Halloween Miracle. 🤣. A Oriole also found the hummingbird nectar and sat there drinking for a while. I haven’t seen him since.
Hi Robbie. So are you saying that if there are squash bugs etc in your yard dirt or current containers, not to use it for the totes/pots/planters inside the dog kennels, but to purchase new dirt?

I close them at night when I remember with the tote lid, this should stop any rodents as they usually are hunting for food at night😊

Very cool, the Oriole may come back now in the Spring, and more hummingbirds may also show up in Spring ❤ Wonderful story❤ Thanks for Sharing
We are going to be 75F tomorrow. Only one day then back down again. I've got so much I want to get done in the garden tomorrow.
