I love pearls too. I find that Tahitian pearls work especially well in summer because they can be dressed down so effectively and the colour adds a touch of drama.
I would advise being careful with the sun visor hat. I got really bad sunburn on my scalp in the pool in Penang and it was so painful. Then when it started to peel I had the worst dandruff I have ever seen for almost a week. It’s something I won’t be doing again.
I can never leave the house without, necklace, earrings, ring and watch

CATHY…..last year you suggested Mephisto scandals….for comfort……I picked up HELEN…..black with rhinestones…..I wear them every day and they make me smile with a pretty pedicure of coral color on the toes……they break in gradually to contour to your 73 year-old-Happy Ager Feet….I bought HELEN again this year in a cream white with painted colored flowers for spring and summer…..yes next year maybe I will get a color ie red….green …..life is way to short to not slip on a pair of super comfortable scandals……

I agree with you about sunglasses. I have to have my sunglasses with me all the time. I like the brown tint too. I have to tell you a story…I was at the beach out in the water about chest deep and wearing my aviator Ray Ban sunglasses. I lost my sunglasses in the water and I was really bummed. About an hour later I was walking on the beach and my sunglasses washed up on shore right in front of my feet!!! I was in shock; I couldn’t believe it!!!

The visor is cute, but I need hair head protection so that my part in my hair doesn't burn, and I have ash blond dyed hair which can yellow in the sun. I have a white baseball cap which can be immersed in cold water to cool your head too.

Great list. We are so alike. Love my Rx sunglasses. Tip for when you want to try a belt (fellow apple): Get a thin patent leather belt with patent buckle. Wear navy w/jeans or black w/black. Wear cardigan or jacket and your belt will just show a little in front but not scream for attention. Loosen your top a bit too.. Also love the rolled hat and that cute Vera bag! I'd add a pair of pearl earrings to your list.

I have prescription sunglasses. It’s great to be able to wear sunglasses and see what I’m looking at. My husband used to point things out to me while he was driving. And I couldn’t see what he was talking about. Now I can. I had a cheaper version of the Miller sandals. They were Sam Eldeman Circus. I never wore them. So I just gave them to my granddaughter. They said they were a size 10 and she wears a size 8. And they fit her perfectly. So that’s probably why I never wore them. I love my Clark’s sandals. That’s all I wear. I used to wear Teva’s. But I can’t find any I like right now. I love to wear bracelets too. But I can never get them on or off. So I have my husband help me. I have quite a few. And when I leave the house I usually have one on. I have short hair and usually just wear stud earrings. My husband bought me some diamonds for Christmas. I told him exactly what I wanted. I have two holes in my lobes. But I have a hard time putting anything in the second holes. I have to wear high quality metals or my ears get infected. So I bought myself some small gold studs to wear in the second holes. But I haven’t put them in.
Love everything but the Clarks. I just watched a “don’t look old “video by Oralia from last year 0:04 and those sandals were in it. 😮. Sometimes comfort wins but just for me Velcro sandals are aging. Clarks has some cuter styles.
We don’t do perfumes or scented lotions and such. My oldest daughter and I, we get migraines really badly. Plus I have a very bad chemical allergy. I really wish I could afford the cashmere scarf but it’s not in my budget. I ABSOLUTELY love pearls and bought myself a fresh water pearl necklace when I went to Hawaii with my youngest daughter’s high school band long time back. Lol. I know you really had a blast there. 😊❤

These are such good suggestions for warmer weather, and I have been doing many of these. Especially like wearing a linen shirt over a sleeveless shirt with the sleeves rolled like you mentioned, because it really helps in air conditioning and can be taken on and off easily. I know this has nothing to do with this video, but I went for my weekend shopping adventure last weekend and bought the Brooklyn pants at Athleta. Got every color in my size, they are that good. The day I was there, they were marked down to $59.95 and were included in the in-store sale with an extra 30% off. I will never be without these! Great tips and fun ideas! I have a couple of pairs of Clarks sandals and they seem to fit my feet perfectly, the arch is in just the right place. My sports sandals are Clarks and very light and secure to walk a lot. I splurged on a pair of blue Taos sandals recently and they also fit my foot well. Love the idea of packing a thin scarf to take on the plane or put around my shoulders when the AC is chilly in restaurants. Awesome video, thanks!

Got my sunglasses at Zinff optical and glass shop USA for my prescription together paid 120 for really well made sunglasses and they walk you through the procedure. Otherwise I have progressive lenses have you ever tried JBU shoes? They are comfortable and they have all styles with arch supports..

I really need to try prescription sunglasses again - I got a pair, but they made me feel nauseous when I wore them as the vision seemed distorted. I really need them too, as I am wearing contacts less and less, and regular sunnies are no help! The first hat is so flattering on you - love it! Love an armful of stretchy bracelets in the summer - I get them on Amazon, as they have so much choice (and at a reasonable price). I love turquoise jewelry, and they have lots (to me it is perfect for summer). Hope you had a good time in Oahu!

My gel nails last me 4-5 weeks. I don’t mind spending the $ to always have fresh nice nails. I don’t give them a break have been wearing gel polish for years no problem. Cute items in this video love the straw bags. And the white Spanx dress looks so fab on you Cathy.

Hi Cathy, love your lip color. I love the gel polish, but find it damages my nails. If I get it I only leave it on for two weeks, and then I have it taken off. I do wish I could take it off myself.
