@@TurboZarya It's not bad advice for the majority since most people don't have a great understanding of body mechanics. James doesn't seem like the inactive type though so I figured he has a decent chance of knowing how to use his back properly.
The deadlift is a common weight training movement and fundamentally focuses on lifting with your back while also being the movement that allows most lifters to move the most weight.

I've had this monitor for about a month now and absolutely love it. I tried for 3 months to get a LG 34" but they were constantly out of stock then I stumbled upon this that uses the same panel as the LG and its $100 cheaper than the LG. Can't beat that!

It's always hilarious to me seeing the motion blur test on a monitor. I have two cheap older monitors so every time I first look at it I'm like "Oh wow the camera is really picking it up, that's crazy!"

For anyone looking for an Ultrawide for a computer and a next-gen console without the black bars, this is it. It doesn't look stretched at all. I took a chance and didn't expect this. I just got it and it's a dream scenario.

I upgraded from the original X34 to the lg 34gn850 just a few months ago. Wish I would’ve waited for this one because I was so pleased with the original x34!

I have the XB32U and it's amazing, wasn't super interested in getting a curved screen. Acer monitors have always been great to me.
I have an X34P and the only thing I wish it had was a higher refresh rate. This isnt going to make me replace my current panel, but its good to see this line moving forward.
Just picked up one of these! Absolutely love it. The stand is great, sadly my desk isn't friendly to traditional stands and I use a monitor arm. Feels like a waste of a great stand but is what it is.

This was my #2 monitor choice. Between this and an LG 27GN950. Ultimately, the 4K won out for me since I prefer the resolution for my work and I have a 3080 so can stretch it's legs.
yeah 4k is a no no for a 3080, i guess u dont care avbout a competetive fps experience
Two weeks ago I bought 27" LG 27GN950-B and I almost had a heart attack when I saw this video. Since you didn´t mention the resolution I had to google it and that´s when I was relieved. Because once you go 4K, there is no going back to QHD. Btw, best purchase I´ve made in years with that LG monitor.

The problem with leaving the packing film on things is that in many cases (not all, but I've seen this multiple times in my line of work) is if people leave them on but use that item, and especially if they handle it physically (like a camera) on a regular basis, little tiny bits of it come up, and they can actually contribute to making a device even more scratched. Pockets of gunk, and possibly abrasive stuff can get into those little nooks and crannies formed by the wear, and then voila, you have more scratches now.

Watching this on my X34p. I think it's crying because it knows it's about to get a brother. Also: $899.99 is the same MSRP as the x34p. Worth it though. I'd buy one at that price.
from the looks of it, 900 bucks is a pretty solid deal for a monitor with that performance and feature set. if i werent in need of triples, i'd probably put that thing on my wish list

I've got the X34P, and It's sick. Idk if this is worth the upgrade if you already have one since you can't really sell them for that much anymore, but it's good to know they're keeping this one going.

I got original x34 in 2016 and holy s*it it was money well spent. Still as good as new and if it keeps working, I'm in no hurry to upgrade.

My Mom still has the 'peel' on her big screen tv. It's not affecting the visual experience at all, and it does keep it clean.
I have the X34 and my missus has the X34P. It's tempting to upgrade to this new one. Also, I think you'll find its a bit cheaper as they don't have to pay Nvidia for the G-Sync license anymore.
Going from SDR to HDR400 is still a pretty noticeable improvement and I think that should be mentioned more!
I'm Asian and I leave the plastic on everything for years.
Been using the 2015 x34 for quiet some time now. loved mine, but man Id love to upgrade to that beast right about now (but not until I get a better GPU than a 1080 to push it to the full 144hz guaranteed in any game at 1440p. I suggest a 30" desk dept at least for those wanting this monitor due to how the stand is.
I am glad that the price of these full featured Ultra wides are going down. Back in 2015 I got an LG 34um88p for $550 from Newegg as an open box deal, originally 1,100. Over the past couple years, the 60 hertz refresh rate is kind of limiting me even though the rest of the monitor is excellent with IPS colors 10 bit color depth, etc. in order to get that extra refresh rate though, I would have to buy something that compromises against features I already have. Seems like this year might be the year that they'll finally have something that's equal to or better in every way compared to what I have, for a price that won't punish me down the line.

not everyone is interested with low end displays, i actually would buy a 2k display so long it had 0 issues and the odyssey g7 specs.. wich does have issues, ofc i get the point of u want but u cant, still, there'r actually LOTS of 300-400ish monitors with "great" specs for the price, while 900+ its a bit, empty
thank god it has those "gamer lines" on the back almost makes up for the lack of RGB

Great review as always! I need advice though. Local store has an x34GS on sale but there is also a private sale 2yr old (still under warranty) x35 200hz with dedicated gsync-ultimate I can get for the same price!
I like that the x34gs seems to have faster input time and less input delay(I think) due to the panel being IPS? but I'm not sold on there being only gsync-C and possible ips glow. - I like that the x35 is VA with real HRD and BLACK blacks but then I'm worried about mouse pointer halo as I don't only play games but also do a bit of web design and photoshopping. *colour accuracy is not a selling point however.
Anyway, for fps games and a bit of work procrastination haha Which monitor would be the best? *Im swaying towards the x35 due to it being such a powerhouse monster - it also apparently doesnt have the fan ramping as it was a later release, I assume with the bios updated which seems to address that issue.
I currently have a very old x34a 100hz that is great but its time to upgrade as I just built a new gaming rig with a 3080ti etc.

I have the OG X34 and love it. If I can ever find a 3090 to push games past 100 FPS on this I’ll get it.
This review made me go out and buy one. I replaced an Odyssey G7 32" and welp. I don't regret it like i thought i would.

Yeah but only cause the technology of base increased with time. Acer used to be the worst performances on earth back in the days. Any acer laptop you would try would simply lag. Thank god technology improves, and so did they alongside.
ive been in the computer sales, building, and repair scene for 2 decades. acer for the longest time was basically a walmart brand. then around 2015, the shop i was working at got several of acers new high end monitors. and they were EXCELLENT compared to the competition, both in cost and quality. and im happy to say that their predator lineup just keeps getting better. yes, they (as well as everyone else) make some really cheap stuff that you should stay away from, but their better stuff is really that, it's just getting better. props

If he wants to keep the protect foils on. It's best to occasionally replace them. They will trap dirt and build rust at the edges of the plastic film. You can buy sheets of the stuff quite chip on amazon. Just get a nice pilot knife and a good cutting matt!

No bottom LED like the original, that is my favorite feature on the original. Desk would look so different without them! I know I could just get a luminnoodle or media light strip and cut it but the integrated ones were amazing set to white.

In the full review please mention if the monitor can accept a 4k input signal for PS5 gaming. Useful for smaller rooms where you only have a single monitor and want the PS5 to output its max resolution (PS5 does not support 1440p).
Ill keep enjoying my 34gp83a-b (aka the 34gn850-b with different branding). Managed to pick it up for 800$ during the holidays.
