I had a boyfriend that died at age 18, he loved me with all his heart. I had a husband of almost 50 years that passed away in Sept 2013. He loved me more than can be put in words or described. I have had another man that passed away since then - -they say I was the love of his life. So I have known love and I have given love. Today, I have a guy that I think I could love deeply if I could tear down the walls.
To love and be loved is the greatest thing besides God. We as humans crave that. Adele makes us feel it in our soul and it grips our hearts. Even at my age (73) I want to share it again. Nothing like it. :)

This song means the world to me. Every time I turn it on it puts me in tears. On April 7 '22 I lost the love of my life; my fiance to a long 4 year battle with cancer. She used to sing this song to me (and a few others). She had the most beautiful voice I've ever heard. Just like an angel. But, now she is one. I have only memories. But, they're the best memories of my life and I am glad I got to share my love with her. One day I will see her again. +Marta martinez: In my very humble opinion Adele's cover of "Make You Feel My Love" is far superior to that of Bob Dylan. If anyone can listen to her rendition of this song at the Royal Prince Albert Hall (2011) in honor of Amy Winehouse without tearing up, there's something missing emotionally within that "anyone". The same can be said of her other covers. But music appreciation just like art is subjective so there's no right or wrong. Just an opinion.

So I never really listened to Adele.I only just started after watching that funny thing she did with the taxi driver. Lol So I started listening to this random playlist and when this song came on I instantly started crying. I love this Bob Dylan and I love her voice!! She's such an amazing and inspiring person, I don't know why I didn't listen to her music before. But now that I know she redid a Bob Dylan song like holy cow, this lady is amazing!!

I loss my son 10 months ago due to the fact that someone shot and killed him. This song is such a sad song that I got caught up in the sadness of the song that I cried so much missing my son. It wants me to want my son back with me. I want to nurture him and love him like no mother can ever love anyone. I just miss him so much but getting through each day but it is hard.

I watch this version again and again for the scenario the director (or whoever) created so brilliantly.... the lonesome apartment, high up in a tall building at 4am in the morning, with a brief sound of the tv in the background... it's getting cold and then there's the fadeout to the sounds of a big city with a distant siren. Terrific atmosphere !

@@caraon9859 In hindsight and now things have calmed down, I now 'know' that she 'knew' this is how I felt, but it was something I would have really liked to have expressed to her verbally and these words were absolutely perfect.
