One thing about cable disk brakes is that you can feather them for wheelies, unless you buy an expensive set of hydro brakes you will notice that they have more of a feel than a hydro brake and yes, you can use a gyro on it, just use a punch and correct drill bit and tap for the screws on the gyro tabs and you can get a template online and print it out and tape it to the frame for hole position. Nice bike BTW, love seeing us old guys improve our skills. Peace J:>)
Glad I found your channel. I saw you at a show you did at Wooden Wheels Bike Shop in Newark, DE. I'm guessing it was 84 or 85. Really missing my old RL20ii, I loved that bike
First, That hang-five! Second, tell me more about pegs. I need to find a solution for my PK Ripper 27.5. Third, Black Ops makes a potts mod bolt so you can run the front brake through the stem and that opens up tailwhips and boomerangs. Great edit, fellas! Isaac
bikes are so much cool today and its funny patching a tube its same old drag tiny patch, nothing worse than the chance to Sesh out wit pros back in the day and they got a flat in the case of guys like voelker etc the would break wheels amd hubs etc not just a flat then they would get in their car and take off after 10 min of riding and we would have to just ride without the show whoever it was. so cal is full of pros that come and go
Probaby the only bikes that have ever been THRU a bush on that trail. If aliens were watching that day what are they thinking? LOL You could almost go snow tubing with those inner tubes. Wow. I've got Avid mechanical disc brakes on my mountain bike. Work great and less maintenance over hydraulic.
@ R L I’ve seen it all now new future sport for fat bikes, how far can you Bush Wack....😂 that bush attempt was so funny. Alright I’m gonna take a nap just watched Stomping the States.
Hi Guys... been loving your videos and I love how RL not only talks yours shows his freestyling but also about life. Question for all you guys here I want to get back in the flatland stuff from when I was a kid but I am confused what type of bike to get. I see these various tire size bikes. I mountain bike so I am still somewhat riding. I kind of want to get a bike where I can do some tail whips, infinity rolls. The big bikes look fun, how much flatland stuff can you do on it? Not sure if video is available going through various size bikes. Thank you!
Hi David, great question. For getting back into flatland I would recommend a 26in bike that comes setup with front and rear brakes. I am riding a haro master DMC that is pretty good for what you want to do. The SE Bikes are great as well. Some of them come with front brakes setup already. A freecoaster is very important along with front and rear pegs!
That is so cool! I think I'm going to have the hardest time choosing just one SE RACING bike to buy this year. Have you heard about the release of the STR-1 20"? Only 1 in existence until now.
@@RLOsbornBMXFreestyle I was thinking that and I like the hydraulic brakes of the quad, but I love the colors of the Fat Mike Buff. I wonder if they ride the same?
I scrolled to find this question instead of repeating. I have a shot at getting a Fat Quad right now and a hard time looking for a Fat Ripper(Mike Buff's are long gone). Suppose I'm looking for the cons of investing so much in a Fat Quad?
Hi Chris, I'm 6 ft. You can make the fat ripper smaller by lowering the seat. I saw a kid about your size riding a fat ripper and he was shredding. SE Racing has 26" bikes with smaller tires and are lighter. What I like about my fat ripper is you can go over anything. RL
Really good to see you still riding lm 55 still riding 50 year I love bikes I seen you in show lots of time much love bro
Nice video, sweet bike, RL is still super rad. Life is good. Dylan you’re a good Robin to Batman!
Thank you!
Dude, Pat was killing it. So impressive. Great job Pat!
Thank You Mike !! Appreciate that. great to see you !!
PatrickOnGuitar Hey man, no lie. It’s not an insult when I say, I was a bit surprised. I just didn’t see it. So rad. Keep up the progress!

That bike looks tight!
Good clean fun
Great Video Dylan !! Loved the Ride !!! Thanks for the help on the flat. It was fun learning the "Bush Whacker"
Of course man and glad you liked the vid! We gotta go riding again soon. Find some more bushes to hunt down!

I just put the steel Bully Pegs on my Mike Buff Fat Ripper and they fit/work great. I'd do that for sure.
i realize I'm kinda off topic but does anyone know a good site to stream newly released tv shows online?

Pat is looking great on that quad! Checkout the photos he took of the welds on his fat quad. Beautiful!!
The Bushwackers! 🍻🍻🍻🍔🍔🍔

Snow riding. Good idea.

That’s great you aren’t babying the bikes. Bikes are made to be ridden. I got the Potts mod ordered for my dirt jumper on Isaac’s recommendation
That's awesome John and I agree, gotta bang them up to see what they can do
That is so cool! I think I'm going to have the hardest time choosing just one SE RACING bike to buy this year. Have you heard about the release of the STR-1 20"? Only 1 in existence until now.
Ya they i did hear about that bike and then they just released 30 somthing more this past weekend. Could have an SE for each day of the week haha
Who makes the music? It's cool.
All our music comes from artlist so there are tons of songs we can use from there
I wonder if you can throw some stans sealant and run tubless
I'm not sure but that sounds like a good experiment!
Yo what website did you get that ive been looking for a mike buff fat ripper for a while now
Why did he put the pegs on the front
I use them for different tricks
one word... "Tubeless"
Between the Fat Pk and the Fat Quad which do you prefer
I like the colors on the fat ripper but thr quad has a lower top tube
@@RLOsbornBMXFreestyle I was thinking that and I like the hydraulic brakes of the quad, but I love the colors of the Fat Mike Buff. I wonder if they ride the same?
@@IROC-ROB They do ride pretty similar. The breaks on the mike buff are spongier while the quad brakes are way more sensitive

How tall is the guy riding the fat ripper I’m thinking of getting one and I’m 5 foot and still growing (only 12) would this be a good bike

I want to see you do that bar ride on that thing
I'm not there yet haha
