Thanks. I needed to use my old Singer for the first time in about 20 years, and I'd forgotten how to do this. Very helpful.
The best video that I have found on winding a vintage Singer sewing machine, thank you!!
Your little video window in window insert on the pin location saved a great deal of aggravation. Thank you for the excellent video!
I'm glad that I found your channel. I recently acquired my grandmithers 1950's era singer sewing machine. I want to learn about sewing but dont know anything about this machine. Hopefully your instruction will help.
Old vintage machines are best
excellent video!! straight to the point, excellent audio and video quality. thank you!!
Hey there! Just wanted to say your video is super helpful and exciting. I just got what I believe to be a model 66 machine, the treadle version and I was concerned there would be no way to wind my bobbins on it.
Thank you so much for this.
Thank you - you've convinced me that I was actually doing it right (following the original instruction booklet dated 1926). So have you any idea why my thread keeps breaking? (My machine is entirely manual, no treadle and no electricity).
Hi Claire! Sorry for my delayed response. Not sure if you solved your issue in this time, but just in case, if you're following the threading correctly and have rethreaded the machine start to finish, I recommend looking at the thread tension. If you've got the original manual there should be some instructions there. I'd loosen the tension to start and modify from there. 💜
Thanks for your video!I just acquired a Singer 66, AJ 230111 (1949) & surprise! it has a back-tack feature! I was not sure how to wind a bobbin. It has an "S" bracket below the bobbin rewind on the base. Do I need to thread through this also?
Appreciate your video, but wished you had placed the camera directly on the bobbin winder. It was hard to see you threading through the steps, and perhaps, gone through the steps slower. Thanks.
My needle bar won't stop moving even when I loosen the big screw at the end
So my friend has a singer sewing machine I can't find any info on it the plate on the machine says ad169502 I watched her video on the singer 66 it looks the same but I know nothing about this stuff I'm trying to fix it back to working order any info would be greatful thank you

Another informative video.All the best.
zašto kad pritisnem bobin winder ne ostaje pritisnut već se vraća u gornji položaj?
oduševljena sam uputom, ali kod mene je problem šta mi se malo kotačić sa špulom ne vrti. šta da radim?
Good
Very helpful. Thank you!
Still suporting you will try to get other people too
For some reason the bobbin winder doesn’t stay clicked down when I press it. I just keep pressing and eventually it does.
But not all,the time. Also how do you release it?? Thanks. I just love my grandmothers old Singer threadle machine.
If it won't stay clicked down, the tiny pins on the right side are probably not seated in the holes on the bobbin. Push the little lever behind the bobbin if you want to pop the bobbin out before it's full.
Thanks for your good demo
Thank you very much.Very helpful.
Thanks
Thank you, looking for a video for ever👌👌👌
Where I collected this type machine. Please tell me where I buying it
I'm not sure! I buy all mine from thrift ships or from local buy-and-sell groups and apps in my area. I don't buy them online since shipping is a risk. Happy hunting! 😊
Holy heck that’s so cool!!!!!

This is a straight stitch machine. It can zig zag if you purchase a zig zag attachment like this one: ua-cam.com/video/Ns7JquqREuw/v-deo.html
