I had the same anxiety as you about losing my pets to old age and illness, especially my dog. Aislinn, the death of a pet is really difficult. As an old fur mom that has adopted and loss many pets, just remember that that is their lifespan and that thanks to your love and care, they were able to live that long and have a happy life full of love. That helps ease the pain. Also happy memories comfort and makes us smile.
Do a vows renewal and make the ceremony how you would of wanted your wedding. My husband and i got married in a party of like 7 but it was rushed and in the ordained ministers living room haha. We want to do it again, but in a vow renewal and Halloween themed. I wore a black dress from target that was on sale for 17 bucks ha but this time i want to wear a black goddess dress. Sky's the limit girl !! Do it again but just for you two.

I am 100% with you on the pet front. My cat has cancer that turned into worse cancer and as I'm figuring out how to proceed and if it's worth reading or just keeping her happy until she does I realize that if the imminent death of my cat is causing me this much pain and torment then I don't even want to experience this kind of pain with a child. Plus I have plenty of other reasons to not want a child.
