      Here are a few tips I've discovered very useful. Not entirely beginner, but helpful early on and even late game.
      -There is a salvageable robot outside eufaula scrapyard frontgate. It will always drop a simple circuit. It's convenient and only costs 10-20 stamina. This is great for some early-mid commisions if you hit it every day. Also gets 2 copper scrap and 2 iron scrap on average. You have to complete bridge and get a bronze pickhammer though.
      -You can directly upgrade machines to the next machine tier. There is a tab that allows you to use the parts there and instantly upgrade. This is very useful, as if you use the refiner to max out a rarity on a machine then upgrade, it carries over the rarity. This means you won't have to find harder to get gems or farm more materials for the refine later. You could make the cheaper or more accessible lower tier machines and upgrade them later. You can spend bloodstone from hardrocks early instead of going off to find opal or spinel later. Stone can be ore refined at 50% chance for a bloostone too, and early on you will normally have 1k or more of stone already.
      -The refiner also lets you reroll the bonus effects. I like to reroll for speed increase or water reduction. Fuel reduction is a waste, you have eufaula scrapyard daily scrap. The daily scrap will basically give you 10+ dregs after recycling. Combined with a little bit of mining or salvaging, you never need fuel. So I recommend rerolling for speed increase or water reduction.
      -The diner can be ate twice for stamina. Always get the daily special, which has a high gol-stamina ratio. You get like 3-8 stam per gol. If you can afford it, add on extra dishes, just try to stay under 1-1 ratio for best return. Once you are in mid game or have good gol stream coming in, you can do 100-150 stam for 75-180 gol. It gets to 1-1 ratio around 125 gol spent. It scales more expensive the more you spend. You can do it twice so its almost full stam early game. Doing this when you got nothing to do in the early afternoon, allows you to farm up any respawned salvagebles, deadtree/boxtree, gravel/hardrock.
      -Always make 2 power fuel generators. This way no machine ever turns off and you maintain 100% uptime on production. You will get a notication when 1 is out, and see a icon above it. This also gives you leeway if your still busy, or not near the workshop and its getting super late.
      -When mount shops unlock, it resets every sunday. You don't need to worry about getting the fancy blue or purple rarity horses. They are super expensive, especially early on at 15k or 25k gol. You can just upgrade the basic horse using "fang special X" at 250 gol only. It's a medicine you can unlock by doing the fang medical experiments every wensday or friday.

    Best easy tip I have is to quick save immediately before refining an item, testing a Fang potion or placing an ad. These are random rolls by the game. If you do not get the result you are after, re-load and try again.

    Some advice in the first ruins at the bottom of the mine is a weapon by the name of ragequit it's a sword but the kicker is if you fight higher lvl enemies it'll do triple damage

    • @ThalryGames
      @ThalryGames  17 днів тому +1

      This sounds awesome. To add though, ragequit is a heavy sword so while it is pretty slow, if you're good in timing it, I think it's one of the good early weapons.

    In Portia the fastest way to earn money at the beginning was to go fishing. Isn't it similar in here too?

    • @ThalryGames
      @ThalryGames  7 місяців тому +1

      I haven't really explored much on fishing in Sandrock so I'm not aware of any good fish for selling and the fishing mechanic is different from Portia. In early game, I just usually put the carps and sandacudas I catch on the drying rack for extra stamina and some commissions also ask for these dried fish.

    • @ArchmageAU
      @ArchmageAU 5 місяців тому

      Early game, commissions and missions are the quickest way to make money. Be careful to only take commissions you can complete (ideally the same day).
      Also, talk, critter and spar Yan. As his friendship rises, rewards for commissions get better. Plus beating up Yan every day is fun and it quickly improves fighting skill. Use daggers and just spam attack button.

    Talking about Qi’s Pickhammer then why do we need to make our own Pickhammer , like when Yan tells us that we have to make one for ourselves. ???
    Cuz that really confuses me a lot.

    • @ThalryGames
      @ThalryGames  6 місяців тому

      Yan's quest that is telling us to make a basic pickhammer is part of the main story and is a tutorial for the game. Qi's pickhammer is an optional pickhammer you can get if you do his side quest, and this is considered a bronze pickhammer which is the next upgrade of the basic pickhammer, so you don't need to make your own bronze pickhammer if you're able to get Qi's pickhammer.

    I don't understand these "save more time" beginner tips. After having played through the game 3x and finishing it to the end I can't understand why you'd need "more time". Unlike in Portia, throughout this game I felt like I had PLENTY of time to do things. I also ended up not using most materials in the game. A lot of the items/content felt pointless because it was never used. Unlike in Portia I used every item that was put into the game. :/
    - Not dissing My Time at Sandrock, I loved it....otherwise I wouldn't have played it 3x....just trying to state that it's ok to go slow and take your time in this one...as you are already given plenty of time to do things -

    • @ThalryGames
      @ThalryGames  Місяць тому

      It's totally okay to go slow and take your time as long as you enjoy what you're playing. And I do also think that Sandrock gives more resources compared to Portia to the point where you won't know what to do with all of them later on 😁
