Not holding through tension and trying to be fast through muscle contraction only. This is real "tendon" force. You will naturally be fast if you don't hold your strike to pose. Much like a boxer's jab, it shoots out and comes back in relaxation.

In this lineage, they call it "Stone Lion", but of course it's practically the same as what other lines call "Cross Shape".
