Love to you, Leigh and Raymond. While taking my wife to Cleveland Clinic earlier this week I managed to squeeze in two museum visits with my Fuji x100VI. I found: At the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (on the extremely dark bottom floor) the IBIS was invaluable. At the National Air Museum in Dayton the 40 MP sensor was a huge help as I had to crop significantly to isolate one plane from another. The weight of the x100 cameras is also a big plus when walking long distances in these huge facilities. Blessings to you both!

Museum photography! Love this environment. The Grand Canyon is beautiful and expansive. A museum offers different opportunities and challenges. Thank you for covering this. I visit more museums than national parks.
I appreciate a lot your videos. I wander how do you rate the image quality of both cameras. I expect to be better the V because of less pixels but larger. Isn’t it?
Had my X100VI for just over a week now. Ordered from Park Cameras in the Uk at mid day on the day after the pre order release. Sold my V through MPB as they offered a great trade in price. Paired with the new grip from SmallRig the VI feels really well balanced in hand.
Hi :) Quick question: have you ever had any dust issues on the sensor with the X100 lineup? If yes, how did you manage to solve it? I preordered the VI but been a little bit concerned with dust potentially getting to the sensor (there are some folks who reported this problem on some forums) and not being able to clean the sensor, since this is not an interchangable lens camera. Thank you in advance :)
Great review! Mine is on order. I had the 100T and I regretted selling it. I tried for months to order the 100V but couldn't get it so no messing around when this one was available for pre-order. The Hurd looks wonderful, on the bucket list now.
I agree with you on the Fuji x series being a stress reliever or mindfulness camera. I also have a Ricoh GRIII that lives in my pocket every day

To give you a few more stops in the highlights, try the dr400 extended dynamic range mode. The dr400 mode, in short, distributes the exposure more evenly thru the exposure of the images, removing the necessity of underexposing for highlights. It does this by requiring you to shoot at iso 640 or higher. This allows the camera to underexpose the hi lights of an image while boosting the mid tones and shadows…. basically what you eventually do in post if you underexposed your images. It does all of these calculations prior to the analog to digital conversion, so it works in RAW!
I would consider this Fuji over the Leica Q3 even though Leica has a bigger sensor. Actually, I feel this Fuji will take a lot of sales from Leica.
Wasn't quick enough on launch so may be waiting a while yet. Really looking forward to giving it another chance. Tried the V but the lack of IBIS for how I like to shoot made it almost unusable and take a back seat to the Q2 at the time and now the Q3. Obviously made a little money selling it once the craziness was on so not mad at that. I'll continue to be patient and feel this should correct everything I didn't like about the V.

I'm with Raymond. The wide conversion lens is on my X100F and X100V about 80% of the time. Good review.

1) Great to see both of you back at the Heard Museum!! Was the last time when you had the Leica CL?
2) Thank you for emphasizing the Fuji X Weekly Film Simulations (and Ritchie is now in the PHX area). I am using Kodachrome II v2 (and others) on my X-T5.
3) Thank you for emphasizing the wide angle conversion lens. I am a 35mm shooter, although I need to spend more time with 28mm.

A week ago I sold my wonderful V and today I ordered a VI. IBIS and 40.2 megapixels made the difference. Hope it won't be too long before there is an X100 in my hands again…

Is that not still the issue with leicas?
I tried for 2 years to get the X100V, and when the news of the X100VI came out, I ordered at 9am EST on Feb 20. Latest update from B and H has no tentative month to expect the camera. I’m beyond frustrated.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you to receive it soon! That being said, now's your chance to get the X100V - KEH has them!
I love my X100 F. I'm going to keep it for now. But I do want to upgrade, just not yet. The price is too high, if you can even get one. Plus, for $2k the beautiful full frame Nikon ZF starts looking like a bargain, especially paired with the pancake lens.

I don't understand why anyone would buy from KEH when MPB not only has a stellar reputation but they take wonderful close-up pictures of all the items they sell from various angles so you get to see exactly the condition and the details of how the camera looks and has been used. KH doesn't do this and will never get my business until they do.

I use both keh and mpb. Some items one won’t buy or trade for and the other will. Or if one gives a better quote then I go to that one. I like both companies

A quick Google Shopping search shows Abe's of Maine and Samy's Camera both have them in stock, but for a premium. :)
@@LeighAndRaymond Yea, no one wants to pay a "premium:" on a $1,600 camera. I'll wait until B&H fulfills my order in 2028.
I wish mine would ship. Fuji is dirty for doing what they did. They could have easily built up enough stock to meet demand before announcing/ releasing the camera. Instead they’re creating demand by not making enough units. Shady if you ask me.
I'm not privy to the inner workings of Fujifilm but this happens relatively often with new cameras. I do REALLY hope that availability ramps up soon!
Just sell your V and get yourself the VI 😊
If only money grew on trees... ;)
