I cannot emphazise enough how bad the tiles are in the first video if used under open sky. After two to four years ,providing you havent taken all the tiles inside during harsh rain or snow... then they last longer, the plastic interlocking system underneath will eventually dry up (due to the mixed exposure of sun/heat & rain/snow and start to crack and break. Perfectly fine to use in a glassed in porch or somewere were it's protected from the elements.

Everyone involved in the built environment, whether you are an Architect, Engineer, Town Planner, policy maker etc. consider the following: every time we lay a slab or build a road we are taking up a physical footprint. That footprint at some point in time was an ecosystem for flora and fauna and now will be destroyed. Biodiversity is eroding at a rapid pace however we can slow this pace and perhaps stop it. So when talking to your clients, designing, building, planning, consider how can you do it to create space for the natural environment to thrive on that site or zone. It may mean elevating the building off the ground, it may mean creating connections between buildings above the ground. It may mean creating a pedestrian city, it may mean creating green spaces on a facade, it may mean creating a new zoning regulation that says yes, this is residential zone but also a zone for re-wilding, or where a zone can be commercial but with the restriction that the current ecosystem may not be disturbed. Nothing is impossible, clever solutions exist and you could help to create them. Please comment ideas and thoughts and solutions. Please also consider sharing this message whenever you see a good piece of architecture, technological solution, or process that could aid an equitable existence between humans and nature. Or when you see a terrible piece of architecture, technology or process. Speak up, and implement change, we can have a better future for ourselves, our children and nature.

It's unnecessarily overcomplicated. Such fancy shmancy gadgets fail over time. One faulty triangle getting slightly raised will rip the underneath of a vehicle causing a disaster.
For example, I hate those one-way spikes, they should be banned. I have seen dilapidated roads and warning signs with one-way spikes buried in dirt. My point is that such fancy ideas look great when new, but fail over passage of time.

Those tiles in the first video are not only utterly pointless. They're about £30 per 60CM^2, so the area covered in the video would've cost about £750... would cost less for the actual lumber that these shitty tiles are immitating.

Naught point, means zero point. Most Americans leave off the zero, and would just say “point 25” for “0.25” but some folks do say the zero. Non Americans use the word “naught” as opposed to “zero” for that, it’s linguistic root ties to the word “nothing”, if you are curious why.

      NORTH AMERICAN
      noun: naught; plural noun: naughts
      the digit 0; zero.

      pronoun
      pronoun: nought

      "the plans came to nought"
So, from a pronoun stance, we are both right, but I believe it it used as a noun in this case?

This thing was a pain in the a#$. The thing requires constant recalibration, it’s menu is stupid it was obviously developed by people that don’t do construction. Sure it works but by the time you get it setup you could have tried a couple of screws.
