    France tried some of those solar pavers in a study. Leaves and dirt that end up on them block a lot of light, and they didn't hold up well.

    The sound absorbing panels should be LEGALLY REQUIRED FOR EVERY WALL IN EVERY APARTMENT BUILDING EVERYWHERE.

    2:11 i wonder what kind of gasses come off those if they are in sunlight. what if you build a shed out of them? are they always going to smell? those made of stone would be really nice though

    👍👍❤❤The connections, which looked like Lego, were great, especially if there was a place inside to pass e lectric wires or water pipes.

      Sadly they're $18. CAN each and a structure built from them can't be occupied.

    Combining some piezoelectric materials into those solar pavers would be an upgrade

    • @leofortey7561
      @leofortey7561 11 місяців тому +1

      to generate... 1mWh/week? What energy did it take to create the piezo?(let alone the mining of the materials) These trivial items make no sense in a city where mass generation via powerplants is a thing. Maybe up in a cabin or space, just not down on Earth in the suburbs.

  • @zenden8030

    Random question to who may know... This might be a dumb question, I might be a little confused ha Say you have well water: the submersible pump brings it to the pressure tank, pressure tank through the filters you have/need, then the cold water is ready for use. There's a line that diverts off to the hot water heater and the cold water heads down the dip tube and heats up, so far correct? the question is the hot water in the water heater still pressurized by the pressure tank or is there some sort of pump that the heater has?

    • @bretfairchild456

    Will be very interested ih how well those solar panels in the sidewalks hold up! The plastic over top my solar powered post lights only lasts a couple years & just weather on them (they were cheap--guess that's one reason!). Will they have to scrub & polish regularly to maintain the clarity needed for power generation?

    Plaex... How much more does it cost compared to Cinder Blocks? This is always the important question. Even if you consider installation ("no mortar"), it may well not be cost-effective.
    Ditto Novabrick vs regular brick.

    Re the Platio solar panels, or any other ones. What counts is not their peak power output in kW, but how much power do they produce per day on average in kWH? How much do they produce when dirty, covered by snow, etc. Do they have to be cleaned regularly?

      Lol. At a moderate 9% efficiency, which is twice as good as our competitors. Saving you can take to the bank. But wait there’s more. If you order in the next 30 mins, installation is free. And best of all you save the environment.
