How to Make a Kiddie Pool Sand Castle with Beach Tools | Our Outer Banks, NC Vacation Project

- I made a Kiddie Pool Sand Castle using only Beach Tools. I started by marking out where I wanted to build the pool. I followed by digging out the area all the while piling up the sand on the borders. By piling up the sand, you can increase the perceived depth of the pool without too much digging. I packed the "castle walls" and added a tower with the extra sand I had. I topped it all off with some shells sourced locally (as in right down the beach. . . ) One thing to note is that without a tarp or plastic liner, the water will drain through the sand fairly quickly so fill quick and fill often. ; )
I also added an unboxing section to the end of this video.
The Woodbrew channel did a giveaway on their instagram. I won! I finished this video off with me opening the package and playing with the prize.

My son is pictured using the skateboard without a helmet, always supervise your kids and have them wear safety gear wile using a skateboard.

How do you keep the water from sinking into the ground?
Not very long. The best solution is to bring a tarp with you so it will hold the water longer. Hope this helps!

I tried building pools but the water is hopeless 😭😫
I think the best solution is to bring a tarp along to line the bottom with, that way the water stays.

+Paisley Ross Yea, this is the Outer Banks. Definitely different sand. I also had to get the sand really wet to get it to take shape. What kind of sand do you have in Florida? Is it larger or smaller grain? What makes it hard to use for building? I’m curious since I’ve never been.

+af taehyung The sand was fairly dry. But the best way would be to add a tarp to line the “pool” so the water doesn’t get sucked into the sand. This would also prevent the sides from caving in. : ) Thanks for watching!
