- First trip out with the semi auto AR15 release from Uintah Precision, I also brought their bolt action 6mm ARC uppr to compare at both 250 yards and 700 yards to demonstrate the differences on the uppers. I cover how to swap from Semi auto to bolt action upper on Uintah Precision rifles with a quick demo. Both rifles are equipped with Arken Optics SH4 Gen2 which you can learn more about in my other videos.

The more I see of your UPR15 the more I want one. Been lusting over Bergara for a while for my first bolt gun but I also really like the idea of just having an extra upper.
*West Desert Shooter* Very nice, thank-you sir for taking the time to show us. God Bless.
Thanks for watching
nice rig, like ya said lil assistance with rechambering the follow up is a plus 👍
Good to see a new video.. one of these days I'll splurge and make the purchase.
Thanks!
Jeez, thanks! Now I need another gun I can't afford! Nice video, full of info.
Thanks for watching, hope you liked it
So your semi is .223 and the bolt is 6mm arc? Been looking into getting the UP-15 complete rifle on their site first and getting semi later.
Great Job Login great shooting
Thanks Willie! Hope you’re doing good man
That looks like a lot of fun. I've got a couple Barrett rec7 di, and an old Rock River AR, but I shoot my bolt action rifles more.
I’m definitely a bolt action fan! But sometimes the semi autos are just as fun
Nice looking set up.
Very nice rifle, thanks for the video.
Guess I’m going to have to call and see if I can get just the upper and see what we can build…great video and great shooting…
Great setup,enjoyed the video👍👍
Much appreciated, thank you
Looks sweet let’s go shooting soon man!!!
Loved the video!
Have you thought about looking into the Bear Creek .410 shotgun upper for the ar15?
I haven’t I don’t have much need or interest in 410. I like to shoot far
It would seem that that suppressor is causing the rifle to over gas. It seems that your ejecting at 2 o'clock maybe 2:30. Probably could use an adjustable gas block to dial some of that extra gas down. Great shooting on the targets though, you're smack in the heck out of that steel. Echo
QuickLOAD says a 69 grain projectile fired from a .223 Rem case *100% full* (22.4 gr) of Varget exits a 16" barrel at 2466 fps, burning only 88% of the powder before exit. Powder seem to be too slow- what were you getting?
Haven’t checked velocity yet. I’ll mention it in the future. They shoot good in both my ARs so that’s a plus
Great video, also a big fan of the 6ARC and OSS cans! What suppressor cover are you using with your OSS?
Cole tac suppressor cover
Beautiful!!!!
Thank You🦌🦌🦌🦬🦬🦬🐖🐖🐖🐏🐏🐏🐐🐐🐐🐿🐿🐿🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯
Keep up the great work
Thank you!
why at 250 yards are the first rounds / traces so visible?
Great video and awesome setup 👌 j
Thank you!
Magic Content and Info 💯 as always Login 🎯😎👣
Thanks!
Awesome video, I’ve always been curious about a UPR10 upper in a 6mm chambering for PRS shooting.
Ps: follow through on that trigger man!
I had a 6 Creedmoor UPR10 for a few years. It kicked ass.
As for follow through are you referring to holding the trigger back? I’m not sure it makes a difference. Tyler Hughes talks about how really it’s a waste of time before making the follow up shot. I was hitting targets fast and easy at close range regardless of letting it reset.
@@WestDesertShooter nice! I just decided to jump on the 6mm bandwagon. Putting together a 6BRA on a Lone Peak 😬
There’s a bit of discussion to be had on the topic of follow through because it’s different for sure in precision slow fire vs rapid strings of fire. Nevermind me tho, I’ve been listening to too many Frank Galli podcasts 😂
All good, I’ve done the pin back method and kinda trying this fire and release style
I want one of these so bad…
What arca rail are you using?
What was your 223/5.56 load/bullets ??
Sierra 69g HPBT and 24g Varget
Awesome! 😀
You’re awesome homie 🤘🏼
Does the bolt-action upper require an FFL transfer?
No, it does not. UP will ship it directly to your home.
Nope! Pretty awesome
I live in salt lake city, how do I get in on this action?
Meaning you wanna go shoot? Or you want the Uintah action? Haha
What’s that bipod?
MDT Ckye pod
@@WestDesertShooter man I wish that bipod wasn’t such an investment. If it was a few hundred bucks less, I’d have one tomorrow
But why? Why a bolt action ar15 setup?
I just showed you…
@@WestDesertShooter I don’t like it. Make it stop! Cancel him 😭
Lol sorry man, but my answer is what this video is for. Not trying to be rude
69 or nothing!!!
77 is the only exception
If these series of videos don't prove WDS is a Unitah shill, I don't know what will
Uintah precision and WDS are both local to Utah. So why not sponsor someone local? But I am pretty sure he still pays for his parts. Not 100% certain though.
Amy M, Uintah told me they were having a hard time communicating to people that the bolt action AR upper is 100% compatible with an AR15. I made this video to show the capabilities of each gun as well as demonstrate the swap. I’ve worked for them at SHOT show and through the years of UA-cam. I 100% believe in their company and products.
It’s 100% in line with my channels content. I’m not just selling ad space to randoms, which I get many stupid emails for. This is what I do, UP is awesome to help me out when possible. I don’t get any kickbacks for selling Uintahs, no code, no affiliates. I just show what their stuff can do.
🤮 that was for the millennials that gun is f****** sick Bro if you can give me an estimate on how much you paid for it please all of it together
