Congratulations Alex, you are a magnificent artist. I noticed that the first layers of color you put are very light. When I put very light colors I can't pass darker layers over them, can you explain to me why this problem happens to me?
Thank you Alex. It was valueable to me watching your processa. And congatulatuons. That is a beautiful painting. A right drawing and adorable brushwork. May I ask you a question? When you stain your canvas with the light gray, do you wait It to dry? Therefore, this wash is thin? Thanks again and god bless you with a Nice year! As well keep blessing your craft!
@@davirosa my pleasure! I am happy you enjoyed it. The gray ground has to be fully dry prior to starting the painting. I prepare a batch of paper in advance.
Oh nice, Looking forward to watching this right now
Thank you very much, Alex!
Nice one Alex!
I came here from Reddit, thank you for sharing your process! It was very interesting to watch, and I learned a lot!

This was very informative and I'd love to see more videos like it. I'd also love tips about using reddit to promote your art.

@@alexkasyanartist5942 Roger that!! Thanks for your reply! It will be handy!! Do you use turpentine just in this stage?
Actually no turpentine at all, straight oil
