@@El_Professor More like as the show progresses. While Negan has threatened Carl a few times, I don't think that he ever actually intended to hurt him. Not only does Negan have a very firm rule against harming children, he cared about Carl quite a lot and was devastated when he actually did die.
As for Judith, after the war, Negan is imprisoned in Alexandria for the better part of a decade. In one of Negan's first scenes after the big time skip, he's helping Judith with her homework from his cell. He later tells Michonne off for her overprotective behavior towards the girl, calling Judith as much of a bad..ss as her brother. Following the time skip Judith started wearing Carl's hat and wielding Rick's gun and a smaller version of Michonne's sword. While Michonne never told Judith stories about the darker side of things, Negan never lied to her. He even pointed out to Michonne that Judith would've been able to tell if he was lying. Negan admitted that that had included what he did to Abraham and Glenn because Judith had asked him about that. He got Michonne to listen to her adopted daughter.
Some of their greatest moments together include Negan escaping from his cell (Gabriel had accidentally left the door unlocked while worried about Rosita's disappearance) and Judith catching him, but ultimately letting Negan go with her compass as a gift. After finding the Sanctuary long deserted aside from a few Zombified Saviors, Negan willingly returned to prison in Alexandria where Judith greeted him with Rick's gun and even took a shot at him as he drove up.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Later, during a dangerous blizzard, Negan selflessly risked his own life to go after Judith and save her. He didn't have to do that, but he did. That seemed to be the event that earned him some trust amongst his former enemies and a kind of work release parole during the day so he wasn't locked up all of the time. In the last couple of episodes of the show, Negan joined the others in risking their lives to get a badly injured Judith to the hospital. A year later, he sent her compass back to her, no longer needing it to find his way.

The people of Alexandria didn’t understand how bad things were with Negan. They didn’t understand why Rick did what he had to do so other people could live. Aaron was the main one from Alexandria to step up and help Rick. Spencer and even Aaron's husband questioned it as well. Only Aaron, who was in the lineup, understood the situation.
Spencer got what he deserved he didn't like Rick from the get-go and wanted him dead so negan killing him didn't effect me at all anyway rosita and Eugene got olivia killed I know it wasn't on purpose but still

He had a whole production factory for Negan by the end of the war. He ends up going over to the Dark Side of the Force after this.
