Old Navy was pretty much the same thing. Set up an interview, wear their clothes, be clean and look presentable. This was in 2006 and I only stayed one shift, so there you go
You now have to be 18 for A&F and 17 for Hco. And GH doesn't exist as a separate store anymore. One thing I'd really say for the interview, is treat it almost like a conversation, like literally chat to your manager. They want to see an outgoing personality who'll talk to the customers and who'll be fun to work with/socialise as coworkers since there are usually quite a lot of work socials and parties. *Everyone* at my store is well outgoing so just *don't* be awkward or shy. Also it really helps if you know people working for the brand already (even if they're at another store) and tell your hiring manager that.
This company pays minimum wage, hires based on weight and skin color, AND treats unattractive staff like animals, threatening to fire those who leave the stockroom during business hours (only can leave on break.) Does not cater, and even FIRES pregnant women. Does not sale XL clothing and "model" staff are recommended to BOTHER UNATTRACTIVE COSTUMERS and to check on them until they purchase or leave the store.
You are not required to wear A&F merchandise when you are being interviewed (all though it wouldn't hurt for the interview) or when working there anymore. I honestly believe this is due to their new direction of not just trying to hiring the skinny people. Size 2 doesn't automatically equal great worker, I guess it just took them awhile to realize that lol. But they are making steps toward the right direction. You can't however wear just anything you want either. You aren't allowed to wear any clothing items with other big brand logos or slogans and names on them i.e. Nikes "JUST DO IT" tee's or anything like that. Take the latest trends that you're comfortable with and apply it to your work wardrobe, You'll do just fine.
@@ibeondagrind they realized that cus stores like H&M and F21 started hiring everyone and they were doing so much better than A&F sales-wise so then A&F was like okay let's change...plus their demonic ceo quit a couple of years ago
Jacob Ronaldo I had to wait for the manager for half an hour because the store was busy and it's a group interview which lasted about 45 minutes. So I would set aside 2 hours to be safe. Hope this helps!

Step 1: be pretty
Step 2: you don't need anything else
