The whole Tesla service system is the best. When I had my Y they really pamper you. And always make sure you have another car to drive for free which is awesome.
...I can fix almost every problem my car has without needing technical assistance. They want to force you to have Tesla do all the maintenance and repairs--it's an awful system and extremely expensive compared to the alternatives. It's very easy to understand: if only the OEM is allowed to do repairs than you've fallen for a scam and don't actually own your equipment.
I work on all my other cars myself. Especially my drift car.
The fact that Tesla does everything and they take care of your transportation needs after dropping off your car is already money saved whether or not it cost more. I understand it could be cheaper but knowing it’s going to be done CORRECT by the manufacturer is a nice state of mind.
There is no correct or incorrect way. I'm tired of boomers using antiquated language to justify their ignorance as an argument.
I have a degree in computer science and lots of background in maintenance. If you knew anything about technology you would never ever have peace of mind in a Tesla.

The problem isn't that it's electric--although the battery tech is hot garbage.
The problem is the end user is locked out of all diagnostics that would allow them to do their own repairs or to have anyone but the OEM do maintenance. People need to stop buying things they aren't allowed to repair themselves.
