Backstory: Virginia Tech hosts an exclusive ball every year called the “Engineering Ball.” You can only go if you’re an engineer. And tickets sell out almost immediately upon becoming available.
My friend Kirt and I are not engineers… We didn’t buy a ticket. But we had a dream. And it just so happens to be another way to get a ticket. If your team wins “Engineering Week,” you each get tickets to the ball.
Over 60 teams vie for the coveted prize, but Kirt and I were determined. Above is our night 2 performance in front of 400 students. Needless to say, we got tickets to the ball!🕺💃
