I love Sesame Street number videos because these UA-cam videos help/allow me to count down and look forward to special days/events that actually happen in each month of the year so Xmas returns faster
You realize pretty quickly that it doesn't matter if you're 3 or 93, a baker falling down the stairs is still pretty funny, and that was the genius of it :-) Love it.
It is sad that all those strawberry shortcakes went to wast, yet when I was a child, I always found it funny that the baker was always going to fall down.
Six is what is known as a "perfect number" because if you add up all of its dividing factors, other than six itself, they add up to six (1 + 2 + 3 = 6). Perfect numbers are rare and far in between with 28, 496 and 8,128 being the next three.
For me, it was around the mid 80s. Don't know why but the opening singing of 1 thru 10 then backwards gave me the scariest nightmares. I'd run out of the room at the very beginning holding my ears.
Has anyone noticed when the # appears again at the end of each segment it's a yellow shade in 2-5 & 7-9 but red-like in this segment & purple in segment 10?
Does the studio have a bowling alley? Where was "10 pins" done? I didn't understand the bowling when I was 3 years old because the ball return blocks the guy, and you don't see the lane as he's rolling the ball.
that little girl said 6 flying things, just like the dude in the number 5, he was like "5 whatever they are!!" After the one thing broke the glass to get at him!!🤣🤣🤣
The fella with the cameras doesn't seem all that pleased that the kid is paying attention to him. Who's this little brat, he says, and does the punk think I'm gonna take a picture of him?
Man, I had this stored away in my subconscious and now it's all coming back to me, I remember seeing these as a kid in the 80s lol

Love seeing in the comments how many of us love the falling baker, and always have😂
I always thought it was a waste of good deserts myself.
But I liked up to when he fell down the stairs yeah
1:12 6 Strawberry Shortcakes
bring back this segment, sesame street
The question-mark door opener is Joe Ponazecki. He also appeared in the Wally and Ralph skits on the show as well as TV commercials and soap operas.
Baker always fell down the stairs no matter what.

awesome thanks for posting all these videos you rock!
It is sad that all those strawberry shortcakes went to wast, yet when I was a child, I always found it funny that the baker was always going to fall down.
I remember watching this in the Seattle MoPop museum
How that chef manages to fall down and manages to survive is beyond me. He has practically move lives than a cat
Who is the professor who introduces the six squares?
He carries them all at once. I saw all the Baker episodes, with him falling down those same stairs and ending up in the same position!
+WorldInfinity Studios He practiced that fall!
Filmed 1980s, 40 years ago
Poor Baker
He keeps falling down

LOL, that poor Baker, couldn't get a break, couldn't even walk down the stairs with trays of food.

On the classic Sesame Street, what was the name of the professor who says 6 squares,7 circles and 10 triangles?
I've watched all of these (well, all the ones that are on UA-cam anyway), and now I'm hungry!
For me, it was around the mid 80s. Don't know why but the opening singing of 1 thru 10 then backwards gave me the scariest nightmares. I'd run out of the room at the very beginning holding my ears.
One of my favorites from childhood! The baker falling down the stairs always made me laugh.
Every catering client that klutz of a pastry chef had must have fired his @$$ 😊
The six camera boy looks almost exactly like my son when he was six years old :D
I always feel sorry for the baker, when he falls with his cakes or pies
I hope the guy falling down the stairs, (was that Jim Henson?) didn't suffer any serious injuries.

Nanto posted this clip a few days ago.
Strawberry shortcake is the name of the show.

That's because it's Jim Henson doing the voice.
Sounds like Ernie to me! (Maybe that's Henson too.)
smoothvirus Duh! 😁
How did they ever get those cats to stay still in there?
The fella with the cameras doesn't seem all that pleased that the kid is paying attention to him. Who's this little brat, he says, and does the punk think I'm gonna take a picture of him?
Six cameras? I guess you would be taking a lot of pictures with them.
He's Len-ay. If he doesn't have it, there isn't an-ay!
I used to watch this and think, "Dumb girl. Doesn't she know what a bat is?"
