Idk the mechanisms too in detail so don’t quote me on it but essentially how Accutane works is that it is an extremely toxic substance that causes cell death of the oil glands on your face which decreases oil production and so acne as well but the cell death occurs in other places of your body as well; ex. Your intestinal linings which is why a common side effect is stomach/GI issues. It’s just overloading your body with a toxic substance that kills the right cells for eliminating acne but also damages other cell/tissues in process.

@@lil.ms.j7156 You can visit the UA-cam channel called Rx PillD ran by a doctor, I believe. Several people on there sharing their stories, worth taking a look at.

DO NOT TAKE ACCUTANE.
Why not
@@Sysaha The risks that come with it are just not worth it. I took it for four months and now I have vision problems, joint pain, digestive issues, and my immune system got weak. It's true that most people will likely be ok, which is why I decided to take it, but I never knew that I would be that small minority of people who experience the serious effects of the drug. There are plenty of safe ways to clear your skin but taking such a drug is not worth the risks just for clear skin. There's a reason why you have to sign an agreement before being prescribed accutane. It is simply not worth the risks. You just never know that you may fall into the small percentage of people who experience the real terrible effects of it. Dermatologists only recommend it since they make bank off of prescribing accutane. Even after you stop taking the drug, there still is a chance of you developing some serious health issue. Also while taking accutane, I would get sick very easily, bruise easily, and I also got an infection from a simple scrape. Trust me, avoid accutane at all costs. It was literally originally made for cancer patients and the clear skin happened to come with it which is why it's now used for acne. It is not a miracle drug. Try anything else to clear your skin, but AVOID ACCUTANE

I’m really scared for hairloss.. What do i do?
hairloss is one of the more uncommon side effects, but if you keep your hair healthy and well hydrated you won't experience hair loss. accutane dries out the hair since it reduces oil glands (therefore causing breakage and eventually hairloss), so you should use moisturizing hair products or no hair products at all (the hair produces its own oils to keep it hydrated)
