This was my first thought to help a friend out for the summer. This video is all i had to see to prove it was viable.

A trick to keep heat out of the cabin in the summer is to put a valve from a '94-97 Areostar that diverts water from going into the heater core.

First let me say I am not a mechanic by any stretch of the imagination, however: living in So Cal the heater in my 67 Mustang is not a critical at this time. I followed your instructions on doing the bypass on my 289 HP and flushed the heater core with water and air. Worked like a dream. Thank you for your videos!

Question, I did the same thing but someone said that by adding that hose to the intake, will overheat because hot water is going into the intake. They said to plug both sides of that hose. Is there any truth to this. Thanks

I have a question I take the bypass I don't use the heater at all Where there will be any problem If I just leave it like that without connecting it to the heater

Arturo Soriano yes your good, just run the hose to the inlet and the outlet. All your doing, is not running the water through the heater core.
