you're title is battery installation.. you haven't shown anything about installing.. all you've shown is your putting the batteries into your box.. It would be nice if you didn't assume everyone knows how to connect all the cables to get everything set up..

So Russ, you're heading for the Pacific...California Hwy 1 maybe? (check the road conditions, I think there's still a section closed south of Big Sur) Now is definitely the time to go--the hills are all green, but not for much longer. If you have the time I highly recommend a visit to Point Reyes National Seashore. And if you make it up to Bodega Bay, Spud Point Crab Co. has the best clam chowder on the west coast. Happy trails!
