I adore your channel. You get so much information, and you are so respectful! Thank you so much. I agree with you. That cemetery is lovely. To me, it's fitting that we eventually just blend into the natural beauty.
I have forgotten hy Rosanne's baby was buried in Burnwell. This is a beautiful cemetery. Thank goodness someone provided steps for you Leo. Thank you for this bittersweet video.
Great video but I am missing something here. I understand that going up all those steps would not be easy but I like watching you go up a narrow path with briars and weeds Seriously I do appreciate your videos and I love your hard work. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more videos. Thanks for sharing.
Leo You are getting so well at telling the Story, Happy New Year to You and Your Family looking forward to seeing more of the History thanks Mick Liston NSW Australia.
Beautiful cemetery. Someone is doing a great job in taking care of it. Perhaps one day, some of the surrounding woods on the edge can be cleared away, to gain access to some of the graves there. Someone else here raised this question, and I am wondering as well; Why are the graves laid out in such a haphazard manner, and not in a row? It is great that some research has been done there, to identify several of the African-American people buried there. I was very happy to see that sign as well. Thank you very much Leo and Heather, for another great walking tour. Have a great day. 😊
I'm guessing wooden crosses were common and those degrade into the Earth after a decade or so. Or graves marked with small metal name plates that get pulled out of the ground and lost.
Sad that they didn't even record it in their family Bibles.. my family has some listed with name of cemetery and even plot numbers. At least it's something. But again so many didn't even get the opportunity to learn to read or write back then .heck my own father in law didn't get to learn to read or write cause he had to help family on the family farms
Thank ya'll for another great video. I know it's got to be frustrating for ya'll to find a name and not be able to find any story on them. It still bugs me of the thousands all over the country, buried that no one knows about. People died in the Indian wars, war between England and the States, the Civil War, the settlers in wagon trains. All those people that there is no record of. No one knows, only God. Anyway, ya'll did another great job. Leo, good that you quit smoking, with all the billy goat action you do. God bless ya'll for what you do and all that you try and do. Ya'll have a blessed and happy year ahead. Stay safe, I want to see ya'lls videos for a long time. 👍 👍
Leo bring a flash light if you hold to the side of the stones it make the letter pop. Thank you for showing us this history. Happy New Years to you and Heather.
It’s been a minute since I’ve had a chance to watch your channel. As always it wasn’t pleasure. Amazing to have so many veterans from different wars in one cemetery. Unfortunately that hadn’t thought of vaults to protect the casket/coffins back then that wound have prevented the dips.
Question: Have y'all done a video at the "Forbidden Cemetery" where Randall's other children are buried? The one that's close to the cabin massacre.I know it's posted that it is off limits, but I wasn't sure if y'all had done a video there or not.
The little store in delbarton you ou had in a video my great mamaw lived just up the road . I remember taking pop bottles in for money in the 70’s. You sound very much like my moms cousin red
21:45…..Student Army Training Corps. The WWI predecessor to college ROTC. They were assigned to several hundred colleges across the US to provide military training to male college students and to provide a pool of partially trained officer candidates ready to be drafted upon graduation. I believe the program was mandatory at the colleges they were present at and I don’t believe they received any stipends or scholarships like current college ROTC get now.
One of my Great Grandmothers was married to a man she called "Mr. Justice Honey" Every one else called him "Mr. Justice" I never knew his real name. I often wonder if there is a connection every time you show that last name.
Ahh For true Christians we know its not about where were buried or how our grave stone is! Its views talked walked lived our lives accordingly to gods will! My favorite songs says...I don't need my name in neon lights for I'm already famous in my heavenly fathers eyes! Besides when a believer takes their last breath there skirt goes straight to be with God n our lord.....That's what's truly important and why we are here to begin with to know God and the lord!
Y'all Great Video Leo and Heather.I am being cremated you can put two in the same plot also I dont want some jackass to dig me up and look at my body and put pic of it or my coffin and put it on the internet and steal what they can get off of my remains did you know that a real human skull gose for $800.00 on ebay make you think dont it. Can you imagine the heartbreak of digging a hole, depositing your loved one and have no sentiment left behind to mark it? 💔

Are you kin to a man named red lane ?
No, Not that I know of.
Why wasn't she buried with the baby?
Nobody knows
Did Randall ever forgave his daughter for having a Hatfield baby?
He put her next to him. I would guess it has to do with regret too...
Thank you 😢
