Ahhhh.....it good to hear this again!!!! i lived in the great country of Canada for five years and loved every minuite of it!!!! i miss the feel of the cool air on my face and just how nice the people are there.
I live in Texas and have always enjoyed visiting Vancouver, Niagara, and Banff, Canada. I tell my friends that they should consider spending their next vacation there since Canada is just next door. It's a beautiful country.

What nice pictures! I have seen some Canadian cities but not the countryside, of the pictures only Niagara from the Canadian side. Need to see more of Canada. Thanks!
@v3ntulus - Thank you from an American who adores your anthem! We celebrate our national holidays only three days apart, and reverse the last two digits of the year of our independence. You guys celebrate '67 while we celebrate '76! ;-)
To bad the longer version is no longer sung in our schools. It's longer than what is here! There are two more versus with the refrain in between them. I asked my brother if he knew the first line of the second verse which goes "O Canada, where pines and maples grow." It's just as long as The American Anthem maybe longer, but just as beautiful!
@jmd2221 i was referring to the Canadians who fought for the RAF, the Canadians who stormed Vimy Ridge, the Canadians at D-Day and the Canadians who died at sea. Yes, Britain did hand over power peacefully. One wishes there could have been more such peaceful hand-overs.
