Few corrections: pass through mode doesn’t mean that people can pass through it.
Vision pro doesn’t have transparent glass. Because of this, the AR experience in it is nothing but the camera feed from the headset cameras.
Since that same feed is rendered in front of the users eyes, it’s called “pass through mode”. It’s a standard term in the XR space.
Also VR and AR come under XR. VR doesn’t come under AR.

True... Also AR is usually implemented in the form of Optical see through (HoloLens 2) or Video Passthrough (meta quest pro, also vision Pro)
Fully immersive still means VR so you were right partially in comparing.
