Explanation of the ending
Right before she dies, after giving birth in front of you in the chapel, Lynn says one last thing: “there’s nothing there.” It sounds confusing at first, especially if you were just rushing through, but what she means is there’s no baby there in your hands. She was kept in the mines, so it’s safe to say that she didn’t fall victim to the microwaves and can still clearly see what’s happening in reality. The reality is that you’re standing there holding nothing, or perhaps an actual piece of her. I personally believe that Blake ends up killing his wife in his psychosis, believing that he’s actually delivering a baby. The baby that can’t possibly exist because he’s only been here for a night, two at most depending on how long he fell unconscious.

That would make a case for why she dies, which wouldn't happen from pregnancy, and there was no cord attached to baby.
But by the way, those microwaves caused fake pregnancy...Not so sure about this one though it sounds convincing

for all who cant understand the story of outlast 2- In Outlast 1 there was a Document,that told woman gets pregnant very quickly and they could die after the birth. So i think that repeatedly white light is an "Emp" sent from Mount Massive.The Emp causes that Lynn gets pregnant so quickly and i expect too that Blake drives crazy at the end 'cause the increasingly school scenes with jessica.A sign therefore too is that Blake Lynn confoundet with jessica more and more.

Haneef Sylla OP got it slightly wrong. Yes, Lynn was somewhat protected from the microwaves so the hallucinations weren't as complete on her but she was still exposed to them, even if it was for a shorter time.
The waves also cause a psychosomatic pregnancy in females, which essentially means Lynn's body thinks there's a baby and reacts like there is but there's no actual baby inside her.

In my opinion, this one has muuuuuch deeper story than 1st. Here, it tries to tell 2 stories at the same time.
Even though in my opinion Outlast 1 was much more scarier and required much more hiding, but with the story, graphics, and overall creepiness of this one, I would say Outlast 2 is a little bit better.
That ending is so good, Left me with so much ideas, just love it.
i think outlast 2 needs a better story than the one to be better , becouse the 1 is more scary , and have a more fun gameplay , the story of outlast 2 is not good , its just strange and confuse with almost no final , thats my opinion ( sry if my english is bad )
