Another great video. One more reason to use to try and talk my wife into why I need an laser engraver.
Thanks! Go for it!
Great job, I like the idea that more people are accepting the laser as a viable tool in the woodworking field. Thank You & Steve Good.
Glad you enjoyed it
As always, very well done. You've got the videography down pat.
Many thanks!
Nice video Tyler. I posted the link to the video in today's blog.
Awesome thank you so much Steve!
That was a great test to do! Enjoyed, take care!
Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks you good tips
No problem!
When I saw the title I thought you meant you were going to cut the pattern out with the laser. I do like the idea of applying the pattern using the laser, and it looks like it was pretty successful. Might try the same with my laser too or try one that has a combination of cutting and veining type details that can be left as laser lines
Thanks! And that is a great idea
Another great job my friend.
Thank you! Cheers!
This works perfectly for Intarsia or segmented projects as you will sand down the edges anyway.
Awesome Idea!
Now you can make shadows next to the inscriptions and patterns, which will add depth to the pattern .
I've been using my laser to not only give me my cut lines, but I have been designing some burn lines that are a bit deeper to add more to my design. For example I just did a disnasour toy. I lasered the cut line, but also the eyes, mouth, acents dow the back and more. I plan on lasering both sides once I figure out alignment, getting it perfect. I use a rotary tool with a cutz-All bit to profile my edges. It takes away any laser cut that remains.
That is a fantastic idea! I may have to try it!
This is what I want to do for my carvings too. Transferring the pattern takes the longest for me.
I would say the laser is a viable option for this
You could probably add colour to the darker woods after engraving the pattern.
Maybe
Looking good. I does take time to set up the software and laser but the file is there for you to use anything. No need to print and tape again.
Yep, it really is a viable option
Nice mention on steve good’s website. Great vid also
Yes! Thank you!
