Do you have any tips for getting small or flat pieces firm without strands coming through the opposite side?
Awe thanks! Felting sideways into the piece for small pieces is a good way to felt it firmer without the issue of it coming out the other side! Keeping the stabs more shallow also helps or using a higher guage needle, but that takes longer in my experience.
