Get educated. Jesus was not a white man.he was a first century jew. EGW was saying that in heaven there will be no racial discrimination. She was preaching to an all black congregation. In that sermon she also stated there will be no black lines meaning no segregation due to skin colour. Her comments would have brought hope to the congregation.

I was like that sis, and at the end i became a teen atheist until 2 years later i got saved. I tried to return to SDA to preach to them and met great indifference for 3 long years and i realized that these people are beyond help it seems. So i gave up.
Most Adventists are happy not to investigate the doctrines of the church, to know what is really being promoted. Being an Adventist gives them a sense of pride that they are better than the Sunday keepers. I have thrown alot at them. Really breaking down why their understanding of Daniel 8 is wrong. I know the Jewish calendar well, and showed how Ellen used a Samaritan Sunrise to sunrise calendar, they have no proof whatsoever that any jew or christian that use the biblical evening to evening calendar agree with October 22 1844 being the 10th of Tishri AKA Day of Atonement. Everyone I know, its the 9th of Cheshvan. Even if EVERYONE in the world was a mo th off, like SDAs claim, they are still 1 day short of the Day of Atonement. Whether it's the month of Tishri or Cheshvan, it's still the 9th. Jews and christians who keep the feasts, go by the moon cycles to start a month. The SDAs could not even figure the sabbath out for 10 years, could they really READ the bible and figure out the Day of Atonement? For me she was definitely writing the words of God until I realized how much she copied from other books, until I learned what she wrote on medical stuff that just wasn’t accurate, but it was what people believed back then. It's tough because I am working 70 hours a week and have 2 small children. Just be careful with all the churches. I grew up in many Sunday churches. I was never SDA, but visited the church out of curiosity. And they break sabbath because they promote a false prophet on sabbath. And keep promoting this lie all week. But as far as the Sunday churches, they all have issues. Many have been infiltrated by calvinism which make God into some monster. It took me 40 years to realize what stealth calvinism was and how that is destroying people's faith. Don't forget, we had many churches in 2020 go along with Trump's lockdown, refused to push back against Trump, and go along with his lie. And they still promote Trump as a Savior. This world is very messed up, including most of the churches. The whole world did not get locked down because most of the churches are good. No, this happened because most of the churches are abominations. Liars. And the people allow pastors to sit in pulpits and lie to them. But because ther pastor says the name of Jesus, they assume he is a Christian. The positive you can take from all this, is most people never realize they are believing in a false church. At least you cared enough about God to where, at least in this instance, you put truth and God before your own feelings and emotions. Many will not do that, so they will never come to truth.

The Race Betterment Foundation was a eugenics and racial hygiene organization founded in 1914 at Battle Creek, Michigan by John Harvey Kellogg due to his concerns about what he perceived as "race degeneracy". Just saying, this is part of what Ellen condoned.
BTW, Kellogg, as a teenager, was essentially raised and groomed in the White household for church leadership. As he became a prominent leader in the eugenics movement, he was not kicked out of the church for his public racist statements and WS ideology. The question to adventism is this, if this was the worst crime ever to be committed before and after the flood, why didn’t Jesus deal with this issue? At my uncles funeral I met a former dean of Oakwood. He asked me if I knew this story. At that time my uncle was conference president of Alabama and Mississippi. Several students started to attend the village church in Huntsville. They were treated very harshly and when the man tells me when the students told him the story, he called my uncle. Well uncle was at the Huntsville church the next Saturday. He addressed the congregation dangling the keys to the church and told them if these students were not welcome to attend and be treated properly that none of them will be meeting there. Uncle said he would lock the doors to all. Sadly he found his life threatened during an emergency illness by a couple of high up sda Dr's because of it until they were confronted. My uncle went on after being president of the different southern states and became vp of the general conference. The white sda church was not excited needlessly said. When I was in 9th grade at battle creek academy, I attended the tabernacle church with parents as soon as I could I would slide out the backdoor and walk a block to the "black church" where at least there was some life in the service. Just be careful with all the churches. I grew up in many Sunday churches. I was never SDA, but visited the church out of curiosity. And they break sabbath because they promote a false prophet on sabbath. And keep promoting this lie all week.

Its not that everyone doesn't want to read or study the Bible when you hear new info, sometimes it takes a bit of study and processing before changing one's belief. When you are programed to believe a certain way. It takes a lot of re processing to understand. A change of conviction. At my uncles funeral I met a former dean of Oakwood. He asked me if I knew this story. At that time my uncle was conference president of Alabama and Mississippi.
