biggest problem imo is the slow menus. especially with contract editing
how has nobody taken them to court for false advertisement? lol
You said it, the problem are the people who play and pay for Hut or in Fifa for FUT. This destroyed this games completely. Why should EA change? They earn so much money, who gives a F about offline modes. I remember playing NHL 2002, that was an absolute amazing game. I played it for years.
All the games before 2011 were amazing! Actually so fun and looked forward to picking it up.
This is why i saved my $70 because i was already skeptical about the game and it's performance. They need to make player types matter again. There's no way a defensive defensemen should be doing the mission let alone a enforcer like Ryan reaves or Zdeno Chara size. Like going more into player type's would create the skill gap the game's been needing for year's because certain players such as the one's i previously named wouldn't be able to do certain dekes like the Michigan. Also i'd like to address the goalies as well because the goalie's have been like fish out of water the goalies need to get tired slower to avoid this......in real life if a team is hemmed up in there zone the goalie would be the only one remaining still to a extent which mean's he's using a lot less energy so if the offensive and defensive player's are tiring at let's say 10 percent the goalie should tire from the pressure system at let's say 2 percent.......like alot of thing's about this game i've noticed even in previous title's are a STRONG lack of attention to detail thing's that should just be flat out common sense and if they don't know something talk to REAL hockey players at least in the minors that can give you a perspective on what aspects of the game they could fix or change to make it realistic or actually hire dev's that know hockey..................or my final peace how about taking 2-3 year's off the release of the game strip the game completely rework the a.i new crowd animations or get away from animations all together and release patches in between time but EA is about out of excuses of why a billion dollar company can't hire the man power for 1-2 year's to get more work down to actually fixing the game and not adding thing's onto a already broken A.I like this was the perfect year with the pressure system to rework the a.i so the defensive and offense know to start cycling the puck in there zone and the offensive zone to actually set up plays they've yet to do that as well......and when it come's to be a pro it's ridiculous like you could of AT LEAST removed the cutscene's bare minimum
Like why would they get rid of hybrid controls what is people were used to playing on hybrid
I personally like NHL 24 it's like a different feel game from NHL 23 at least Gameplay and Main screen color wise; I'm mainly play Offline Play Now and Franshise Mode.
The only thing I complain about NHL 24 is the Ones Now Mode is literally the same since like NHL 20 and No Winter Classic or maybe a bit more Game Modes

Sure the game isnt amazing, but imo this is a step in the right direction, but maybe i just feel like this because the NHL games have been such big letdowns for so long lol
you know what's funny......ign and game informer has said nhl game's have been a "STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION" for about 5 year's now with that being said how many more steps do they gotta take before they get where they need to go because people are spending there $70-120 right now?

You can practice with your world of chel club to run drills. That’s been in the game for a long time
There is practice mode but you can’t draw up drills to use in game. It used to be in the game but now its been gone for years 🤷🏻♂️
Great video, like you said I’d highly suggest if you haven’t bought nhl 24 yet and want to. DO NOT BUY. Wait for sale or for nhl 25
I was super excited to use the new hitting system because I love laying big hits but I’ve only used 2 out of my 10 free hours and I have not been able to lay someone out I will be sticking to nhl 23 this year
They need to allow ps4 players play with ps5

30 seconds into the video, you’re complaining about the lack of game modes like? It’s a game about hockey, how can you have a lot of game modes in a video game about a sport? If it was cod we are talking about i could kinda agree but c’mon…. We have Hockey Ultimate team, a 1V1V1 gamemode, 3V3, Shootouts, Franchise mode, World of Chel, Be a Pro, and and more stuff
How more can you ask for?
2:49 you’re complaining that the sustained pressure system isn’t good and it is not true to real hockey but how can you make it more realistic, if i am playing a game irl and my team could not get the puck out of our zone i would get stressed..
3:00 is the furthest i will go you need to do more tested because this is a really bad review and just first impressions, and it’s OPTIONAL aswell, if you want to play with total control do it and if you don’t stay on skill stick…
You’re certainly entitled to your opinion but they could do A LOT more with the game modes. Yes all those game modes you mentioned are in the game but they have been the same for 4-5 years as I also mentioned. They can get very creative adding in a new story mode and other fun features. You should watch further in the video before making a comment to see my ideas and explanation! The controls are optional but the skill gap has been removed with them which I also mentioned. I wouldn’t even introduce a pressure system. Nobody asked for it and it clearly doesn’t work in a video game. The periods are too short. If you are okay with spending $80-$120 on what this game is, that’s on you, but I’d feel cheated if I was you.

@@tophercura9362 it is true. Poking is impossible. Goalies suck. Puck bounces r still unrealistic. Pressure system isn’t realistic at all but with minor tweaks it could be. Even if it’s a little better it’s still not a good game and thts a fact…. All they had to do was get rid of LT and make goalies better not revamp the whole game…..
Dude NHL hasn’t been good since 2011. It’s not skill based at all anymore.
