Lori, you are a great encourager. The words you say are from the heart and you have a genuine love and respect for others, I really value and appreciate that! A quick meal that I often feed my husband is ramen noodles. I buy Ocean's Halo organic ramen noodles from Walmart. The ingredients are organic wheat, water and sea salt. I will use 2 cups of homemade bone broth or store bought organic unsalted bone broth. My husband likes the broth seasoned with kosher salt, ground cayenne pepper, ground ancho chile pepper , and garlic powder. I pour the broth in a pot on the stove top and heat on high to bring to a boil, next I crack two large eggs in the broth and cook for 3 minutes and after that I gently scrape the bottom of the egg since it sticks to the pan slightly and pour the broth and egg over the noodles in a large bowl and let it set for 3 minutes and the soup is done and its delicious, nutritious and fast! You could easily triple this recipe and more to make enough for the members of your household and add whatever seasonings and or veggies such as chives or green onions you like! My husband usually has cottage cheese and fruit for his sides.
I don’t know how I came across your channel, but I’m loving it!!! I am a working mom, and I cook for my family at least 5 times a week. One thing I do want to continue is cooking, but I want to be more intentional about making QUICKER meals so I’m not skimping on the evening family time. Thank you for these ideas!
Well, I’m so glad you did! And thanks for letting me know!! I’ll try to keep some quick meal ideas coming your way ❤️❤️. Thank you for making meals for your family a priority! Good for you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
one thing I do to help sometimes is cook the meat that can be used for numerous recipes! Sort of like what you mentioned with the chicken. If I find ground beef on sale for $3.99 a pound, I’ll stock up- cook 6-7 lbs at a time and store and freeze it individually for lasagna soup, taco soup, spaghetti sauce, burritos, enchiladas, taco meat, homemade hamburger helper, chili, or sloppy joes. It’s a time saver for busy week nights for sure!!!!
@@emilyguinn8025 You probably already do but let it drain in a colander into a bowl. Refrigerate the liquid and the fat and stock will separate. That's free stock to freeze for another dish. And free fat if you save that.
A meal I like to make is baked potato bar. Cheap and easy. Family can customize. Rub olive oil on the outside of potato, sprinkle with coarse salt, wrap in foil and place in crockpot. Heat on low for 6 to 8 hours. So easy!
Hi Lori, soup and sandwiches for sure. Also stir fry using the stir fry package of frozen veggies from Aldi and adding either chicken or shrimp…I don’t use their sauce packet, I make my own. Breakfast always a quick meals. ❤
Great video -- happy to see these are simple and affordable. I'm an empty nester, but these would be great for my household size, too. I'm trying to have a healthier diet and also save money! Also, those sesame rolls look beautiful!
Did you make the bread with freshly milled flour? You did not say and I know you had been doing that before. Just want to see if freshly milled flour will work in the recipe that you gave and in the machine you are using.
French toast is one of my all time favorite foods! We had homemade pizza tonight. Not exactly quick but very easy to put together once the dough is ready, the sauce is made and the cheese is shredded. 😁

I am so sorry for all the heartache and loss. We are watching from a distance with sadness and awe at it all. ❤️❤️❤️
