That Bloodraven is like "a crow?", it makes no sense to me if they are the same person. It's one thing for the visions to be shaped by one's own consciousness, but with all the corn stuff and flying and such it feels like Bloodraven would know Bran was seeing a crow. I still think Bran will do something Bloodraven absolutely thought was not possible or expected, and this is what will trigger Bran's exit from the cave, a bit like Prometheus stealing the fire of the gods. So the Others going after Bran later would precisely be because Bran will NOT replace Bloodraven, he will NOT be serving the CotF, he won't be seeking to protect the weirwoods, which is what the Others' purpose is. He'll get all the magic and use it for himself. I'm pretty sure D&D didn't finish the story George laid out to them, and that after he becomes king he wargs Drogo and goes to burn all the weirwood.
Since apparently Bran becoming king is from GRRM maybe he really does drive Areys mad just to set in motion a series of events killing thousands, maybe millions where he will eventually be crowned.
What if you come up with just one very elaborate bucket idea? Ever considered that, mister psychologist? Because I think that bucket experiment spawned the entire Star Wars universe, built around a big bucket that Padme falls into.
The three eyed crow and bloodraven are obviously different, we literally see it this chapter. E eyed crow is the collective in the trees/old guys. Bloodraven is hooked up to the trees and lost past the point of dying so they are no longer entirely distinct either.
Just enjoyed a relisten of this great podcast and as random thoughts on one more thing tho it’s pretty clear that curtosey is is often just thinly veiled and not genuine expression of emotion to talk with some civility among the people but also in those moments when a character is acting on their emotions by reflex or choice people (Bran) gets seriously hurt ex) Hodors charge towards hot bread in kitchen bangs Brans head on doorway, and Jaimes “the things I do for love” tossing Bran out tower window out of prioritizing his relationship with Cersei…idk if that’s anything just happened to notice this time
I don't think the writer was told the last line of the books, from what I recall he wanted to take a line out and George said to keep it because it would come back at the end, as in it's going to be meaningful towards the end of the story, which for George could be anywhere in the last 500 pages of the last book for all we know.
