- I'm back with some more AC Unity gameplay for you guys today. In this video, I'll be doing the mission La Halle Aux Bles. This is Sequence 5 memory 2 in case you want to go back and play it for yourself again. This was one of my favorite mission, it gives off some Uncharted vibes near the end of the mission. Unfortunately, you don't see big cool set pieces like that in AC games anymore. Let me know if you enjoyed the video, thank you for watching :D

Unity is underrated imo. Arno moves around just like an Assassin should.
A lot of games nowadays are good games, but the bugs and problems overshadow all of the good. If developers would take their time and prioritize the gameplay over monetization this would be the greatest era of gaming.

@@werdazhel_9672 this was the first game that inspired me to upgrade my PC and get a proper graphics card that would let me play the REST of the series. And this is after ignoring AC after ACIII up until last year.

Can you imagine if they remastered the ezio trilogy on this engine and gave ezio the movement he deserves. I'd lose my mind.

I've started playing this a lot again, and finally got the Altair costume, which has made me want to play even more. Playing this game has reminded me how far the AC franchise has drifted. I'd love a new game like this that's fully polished.

I played through the entire game on PS4 first, then PC, and the gameplay is way smoother on pc than console.
Agree its 30fps on consoles and 60fps on pc

@@Reiplushaddict exactly. No hidden blade, no hood. There is a level up system and hack slash combat doesnt fit ac at all. Also they fucked uo the lore.

I never played unity but own odysessy and from this video thinking the same thing
My guess is they did it to fit the free-form, less structured feel of the other gameplay elements in Odyssey. So they basically dumbed it down to appeal to a bigger audience that won't care for the parkour. Such a shame, really.
Because the game wanted to future parkour that would let you access literally any spot on the map. Unity couldn't do that - it had a structured parkour, so it was easier to design it graphically. They had to downgrade the parkour to make those places accessible, since they wanted a big RPG.

Unity has the most clunkiest controls amongst the other AC games but this guy manages to make the movements butter smooth. Great video!

The first thing I do in these sequence of mission that is actually run to the window... Then I realized the convenient obstacles for free run/parkour around me.
This looks so smooth, even smoother than my 60 fps gameplay. What framerate do you have in game? And why colors are warm? Did you set gamma high?

His running sounds like placing Minecraft blocks really fast. Especially during 6:56, not complaining though. Also the parkour looks a bit glitch-y, but damn those moves are pretty cool

That was on release lol. It surprises me how many people thing that Ubisoft just gave up on unity after release lol. The game is sooo much better now. You should play it and see for yourself :)
