Such a superb, astonishing piece! The structure, form, creativity, sound.... Everything is so beautifull, perfect and polished!! Even thought is theme boroque, the whole piece feels so modern! You are genius, nothing less.... I wish i was such a great composer...
I love the variation V, it's so emotional and passionate with such a nice contrapoint, , next my favourite is the IX, it's so modern and exciting and I love the end of the variation!... Also variation XIII is very interesting, reminds me Scriabin's 2nd sonata,k Stanchinsky's etude in b major, Feinberg's 1st sonata... Even some Medtner's skazki, it's really nice airy structure! And I love how the next variation is so quasi baroque, but turn intoo such a passionate passage tied up with the next variation, which is so exciting, mainly because of the bass and polyrythms.... And what astonished me the most about this part is that after this you put a Medtneresque - grotesque vartiation and you still keep the tension and you realease it only in the prelude, which is also so superb! And then you just still build the tension, still and still, it's so exciting and astonishing, and then... the coda is just so GREAT and MONUMENTAlL!!!! Such an epic piece! With Medtner's Opus 47, it's maybe my most favourite set of variations!
Thank you so much for such an appreciation of this piece. I am also very grateful to you for the time and attention you invested not only in listening to an already quite large composition, but also for leaving such a detailed comment. It means a lot to me.

Thank you! As it seems to me - you are already making very decent compositions. Keep going. I'm following your works.
