Phone addiction is like any other addiction. It's never enough. Dopamine can lead human to depression and dont wanna do anything include eating or bathing. Our brain can release "nature" dopamine after hard working. And I believe that boredom can lead to your most brilliant ideas.
yess, I am happy you document this! It's actually the perfect time to explore our own mind and its creativity. It's fascinating how nature becomes 'entertaining' when you really start looking at it: fe. everyday a new leaf of flower pops up, meanwhile the birds help creating a rhythm, nature is like symphony, or a dance, and it makes me want to dance too. Thank you for reminding me of it, it's like I always return to my phone in the end, why am I so attached to it? ok, this it it: tomorrow no-phone-day!
Watching this was so refreshing. These days time has been passing so quickly for me. I want to be able to enjoy my days and be more disciplined. I'm going to try this out once I'm done with classes. (Btw I loved the video/editing style it kinda made me feel like I went on the journey with you) Thank you Jusuf!
I have learned that feeling bored and unsettled is okay and normal. We cant always have a high. When that happens I just acknowledge it and lay with it and remember the times when I used to be bored but do mindless things. Its kind of a privilege now, to feel boredom
It's crazy, today I decided to turn off my phone until noon so I could be more present and less distracted during the morning and your dopamine research makes sense
You know what, yesterday I started to stop using my phone to go on Instagram and spend time ( waste time ) scrolling ohhhhmygod. I watched someone painting and drawing and I drew the entire afternoon! It feel refreshing and I forgot how amazing I feel when doing it. I felt calmer and that’s what my brain needed. Thank u to inspire me so much Jusuf! Lots of love from France 🇫🇷❤️
This came at the perfect time! Starting a new week and am looking for ways to be more focused as I feel that my time is slipping away from me even though I seemingly have so much more of it now that we have this whole quarantine situation. Will be trying this out tomorrow - but in less of an extreme - will be removing any distracting apps from my phone, but will continue to use it so I can talk to my friends, becuase that's one of the only things keeping me sane right now. Keep up the great work, loving your content!❤
I have to pause the video right now and tell you that I looooove how the video turned out like the little notes popping up and how you edited the video is just so perfect, thank you I am so inspired
during quarantine, I became more obsessed with 'instant dopamine' because of fear of feeling anxiety. Which made me unproductive, lost and unhealthy. I've never heard of dopamine detox but sounds perfect to me! I actually don't do 'detox' kinda stuff because I'm not obsessed over things as mush as other people? But the moment I heard of this, I felt like this is the thing I need right now. Thank you for making an amazing video as always
In these days I am so addicted in my social media and this video makes me realize that how we actually need some time to love and feel ourselves.... love u...
hey so im here again bc i dedicated these past 3 days to do some research about this dopamine detox and i think i highly need it asap, so im starting tomorrow even tho i have some online classes and i just wanted to thank you once again bc if you didnt talk about it then i wouldnt know, you've been my savior for these two years and im super grateful.
I really needed this! Thank you so much for your amazing content. I truly appreciate you and I love how balanced and healthy you!!!! You are such an inspiration!
This video is so inspiring, I’m starting my detox tommorow, since I’ve never tried it before 💗 Thank You Juss fot this so much 💕 This format is so peaceful and calm, love it. In my opinion, it would be even better, if you read the extracts from your journal out loud. Sending love to You and Bourbon 💜
Jusuf, I watched every ad for you, and absolutely adore this video, thank you so much! Your channel is evolving beautifully, and every video is so inspiring!
still at the very beginning of the video but what you wrote about usually cooking with music on and finding cooking in silence grounding stood out to me. i did a social media fast before easter and that was probably something that i learned a lot about - just cooking, cleaning, doing “regular things” and being comfortable with the thoughts that run thru my brain without such distraction. 🖤 definitely recommend!!
Learned something new today! I'm still beholden to social media/ my laptop until I finish my degree but definitely interested in trying a detox this summer, really intrigued, great video!
I’ve been studying all morning and decided it was time for a break, this video was posted RIGHT ON TIME HEHE love u and ur content. Always gives me motivation at the right time
This video was honestly a breath of fresh air. YES I LIKE THIS FORMAT! KEEP IT UP! Quarantine has taught me that I'm always in a state of distraction because my mind takes me to crazy places so I just avoid it by consuming data all the time, and I've gotten used to believing that this is a productive thing. I think it's beneficial for people like us to take some time to get used to trying to control our somewhat uncontrollable mind and being more present! So yes... I think I might just do a dopamine detox as well. Thank you for inspirating me 🤗 as always... I love your spirit. Sending you love 💜💜💜
i loved this format! thank you for being so honest about having moments where you struggle. can't wait for part two! i was also inspired so i'm taking a look at my daily routine so i can change it to have moments without media. thank you jusuf!!
I disappeared from socials and text (besides phone calls and podcasts/music) for a month before xmas break when I was really stressed. And it provided me alot of concentration and focus. Granted it made me sad, to disconnect from friends. But, I think it's a great way to transition and I might do it again as I try to figure out my plans to make the most out of self-isolation! Thanks for sharing
Hey, the aesthetic, camera focus, and overall conscious feel of this video is so on point. I've also been trying to live in the past since I read The Power of Now. I think you're so talented and mindful
I LOVED this format! It put me in such a calming mood and motivated me to find more stillness during my days, and learning to enjoy it as well. Also, I’m currently wearing your necklace ❤️ hope you’re doing well during this strange time
I like when you interact this much during a video!! I also enjoy a vlog with just music, but because of the nature of your videos I do actually prefer this format, and I’m sure everybody else does too because we value your opinion on things! :)
I really liked the schedule you made. I agree one mistake is to allow ourselves to be distracted during our most productive hrs. Finding those hrs can be so helpful. I experienced a hurricane that left us without electricity for months. And I was forced to not be distracted with social media. And I feel like we shouldn't be forced. That it's actually healthy to be productive and be present in life.
I love that you are making this video (beautifully edited as always)! I have been doing simple living for while and find watching the sunrise from start to end is one of the most rewarding wonder. I am so happy that you use your inspirational platform for great things too. Much love
Jusuf, you are so inspiring. I deleted all my social media a few months ago (except for youtube..) but bcs of corona I redownloaded tiktok and have been watching sooooo many videos. I think I have to try to put away my phone more often so I can enjoy the little things more without aching for a distraction. So thank you for making me realize :)
This video was so amazing and I loved the format! You are such an incredible person and through your journey you are helping all of us too. Sending love xx
Thank you soo much for this video, it really inspired me to try the dopamine detox myself. I heard about it before but I always was "too busy" to do it, so guess now is the best time to actually do it. I absolutely love the format of this "vlog". Your videos always have such a positive impact on my life and I love that they're always so mindful.
Since my phone broke down two weeks ago (and I could fix a temporary one) I feel a lot more present and less stressed. Seeing this video makes me realize all little things that improved even more. Going to set anti-internet-stimulating rules. Thanks for sharing Jusuf! :) Your vids alwways motivate me
you have been a huge inspiration to me for a few years now and i love how we have kinda been growing up together. this video (along with all your other videos) get my lazy ass motivated again. i´m so grateful for that! keep doing what you do and being you ❤︎
Looking forward to try this Dopamine Detox thing! I have been very distracted lately, that I couldn't even bother to do stuffs that I was supposed to be doing. Most of my times are spent on social media if not video games or Netflix. Thank you for the video!
I love this one! It feels like I can also feel what you are feeling in those moments. I've stopped listening frequently to music for a year in 2018 but I came back to it. And after watching this, I want to do some detoxing too because it has been overwhelming for the past months to me. ❤️
Your videos are sooo inspirational and improve my life and myself for the better. Instead of watching or doing some bullshit all the time. Thanks jusuf🥰
I started my digital detox a few days ago too and I find it very challenging. It is quite complicated to detach from these habits but the result is so damn worth it. Mindfulness and patience are the keys.. don't judge yourself if you fail a few time ♥️ ps: i do like this narrative style of vlogs, keep it up ✌
Definitely nice format. I also enjoy the format of your previous vlogs like you giving your opinions while experiencing them. They both work honestly imo.
I couldn't explain where my need to be on my digital devices but now I understand !! I really liked this video and thanks for inspiring me (and surely many others) to come back to more basic and useful activities 😊
i really liked the style of this video!! it was a slow burn in a good way, like the video helped me feel grounded. And I think it comes full circle to reflect the detox, how we should appreciate things in a slow manner and just take eveything in and with no music it allows us to think about the clips and your experience!
I have heard about dopamine detox before and I will do this after Abitur for sure. It’s just, if I would do that now, I would become depressed without the distractions , realizing how I’m currently at 20 years old so not there, where I actually want to be. I really liked this format better. It kinda had more substance behind it. Don’t get me wrong, I love your other videos as well, they are light and aesthetically pleasing, but this one felt more real on an emotional level:) Oh and can we be friends, thank you.
wow, i have never heard of this concept before and now, i feel like i have found an answer as to why i have burned out for so long and have lost the happiness i found in the things i used to enjoy. thanks jusuf (and bourbon) for the amazing content always! ✨✨
Appreciate the narrative. it's funny how i personally love that quietness in movie scenes, normal day activities been captured, in youtube videos too, the ambient sounds so pleasant, but with ourselves its most times not enough....i watched a detox dopamine video some months ago, and never took a day for it. your steps method feels nice, and already made a difference in your speech. i love this. ive struggled to find my own system and its so easy to give into the same old same old of just entertainment and this dopamine desensitization/tolerance that I feel so identified with. thanks for this, seeing you do it in your way inspires me to do it in my way and try to document it even as personal data to find a way out of the cycle. Something I loved that u said was that really what we're doing isn't getting us where we want, because that's ultimately what we want. just to love our life. so thanks, love the format of the video. will look forward to the second and more to come pleeeease hahahhaha. something I've decided to do with this is make my own plan (I'm from Colombia and we just got notified that we'll have 21 more days of quarantine so i think that number is magical, i will no longer waste my time and build my systems. 21 days. challenge accepted) loveeeeee form Colombiaa xo

There’s a video that made me motivated to do something, but this video brought me to the present. Thanks for reminding me that it’s time to actually deal with myself mentally. The thing that I’m most scared of! Love your videosヽ(◕◡◕)ノ♥
i love the format of this video , this is such an inspiring experience that i would really love to try because of my huge obsession with digitals , thank you jusuf !

I enjoyed your video so much!!
I’m glad to hear that you are learning Japanese again☺️
I love you from Japan ❤️
really enjoy the direction you and your channel get(s) 🦋
i really liked the style of this video!! it was a slow burn in a good way, like the video helped me feel grounded.

Wow this video is so raw and enjoyable to watch! Loved the visual as as always ❣️😊
+ i receive high dopamine doses from your vids and it's actually the best source of dopamine so far and it helps me work harder
❤️Lieb' deine Videos!
Sie beruhigen, inspirieren und motivieren, weiter so!
Its amazing when i get in an observation mode of my own life, like if i was in a movie. need to work more towards that. thanks for getting in with the topic! willing to see how it was the boring ass day kkkkk will try myself for sure after that!
This format is refreshing and new. ❤️
OMG i was literally finding the motivation to start grinding on my essay and your video popped up... 😍😍😍
This video is so calm and peaceful to me for some reason. I love it. As a fellow motivational youtuber I feel so inspired. Also I love the rawness of this format (if that makes sense). I feel like this comment is all over the place haha. Anyway you got a new subscriber✌
The visual is so relaxing
I quite enjoyed how this video felt. I just started going through therapy last week and changing your mindset can be very difficult, though it looks easy on paper. This video couldn't have come at a better time for me tbh 😭
I liked enjoyed this format, too. I think it fits the topic.
Narrative content is always more fulfilling and enriching for me!
Loved this video, the format is amazing! Keep going
I would even avoid reading since imo my biggest dopamine release comes from reading. It takes me places while I'm remaining fixed. The only thing I would remain is maybe podcast because it's the most educational form of "entertainment" for me. Though it's not really entertainment, Infact I feel like it helps me feel even more grounded.
Thanks juss, you always help me find beauty in things I already owned. My mind, for example.
Sometimes I forget what's in my control.
CANT WAIT FOR THE WHOLE VIDEOOO🤯🤯
i love this. ive struggled to find my own system and its so easy to give into the same old same old of just entertainment and this dopamine desensitization/tolerance that I feel so identified with. thanks for this, seeing you do it in your way inspires me to do it in my way and try to document it even as personal data to find a way out of the cycle.
This video format is great! I really enjoyed it ! Awesome video
this video was perfectly formatted. super duper inspiring.
It's so great for me... As i don't even do exercise .. Cuz of laziness n always procrastinate time.. but dis is so refreshing ..btw dis inspire me lot.. Love u juss.. ❤❤
There’s a video that made me motivated to do something, but this video brought me to the present. Thanks for reminding me that it’s time to actually deal with myself mentally. The thing that I’m most scared of!
