Gender in the Church - Dr Donna Rizk

We all know that in Orthodox Christianity, men and women are viewed as equals. But what does that mean exactly? How should we understand the role that gender plays in the life of the Church? What are the theological underpinnings of the Church's understanding of gender?
Dr. Donna Rizk is Adjunct Professor of Theology at St. Peter's University NY, and serves in the Coptic Diocese of New York and New England as a theological educator. She will be joining us via Skype for a video conferenced lecture and discussion, MC'd by members of the Aletheia team.
