these musical dramas are my favs since Empire and Star, but Star got cancelled and now Queens did too. Im praying this one lasts, it looks real good.
Yes I pray it last too. All these TV` shows especially black TV` shows get cancelled after the first season. I’m still pissed Star got cancelled 😡 I didn’t care for Empire like that. I see potential in this show to last for about 5 or 6 seasons from now.

I joined BET and I happen to come across the Kingdom series. I am grateful that there is an outlet where our talents and abilities can SHINE. Above and beyond the fact that the storyline is so incredible, the acting is FANTASTIC. I find myself rooting for everyone to be able to tell their story. I felt the pain for the pastor to be able to finally come to a place of acceptance of his infidelities and wanting to still be loved by his wife was heartbreaking. I have been married for 29 years. And my husband has been like the bishop and his pipe. I have had a serious spiritual and mind-opening experience where the Spirit of the Holy Ghost has told me to be still and leave my husband alone. In my stillness, I discovered that my husband is insecure, hurting, and wants attention. I have had to deal with an outside child, despicable inlaws, and still continue to be still. I am so hooked on this series. Fantastic is all I have to say. I pray for Bishop and my husband.
please read the book Coveting the First. I would love to see that book come to life as a series as Kingdom Business. I hope Kurk Franklin is reading this.

As a Christian I don’t agree with this, this is basically just doing the same thing as the world and trying to sprinkle some Jesus on it.
It’s acting ? It’s not a big deal
No the point of the movie is that God can change anyone and deliver people from doing things like this and use talent for his glory. This is our reality unfortunately and if you miss the message then how can you help others to get out of sin. Because we are in the world but not of it many young girls can be inspired not to sell their bodies, dance half naked and look for validation in a man and know their self worth. This movie is basically about changing your life around and living for God.

You’re right, as a Christian, I won’t be watching this. Isn’t it enough we have all these ungodly movies and programs coming out of Hollywood that DONT glorify God. Do we, as the church, need to emulate yet another show that was steeped in ungodliness. The fact that they’re basing it on “ Empire” pauses me to caution. Have we been paying attention to the word of God. His word is being fulfilled everyday before our very eyes. I’m sorry, but we need to preach Jesus and Him crucified, not another program about the corruption within the music industry. We already know how foul it is. This is just another “ Greenleaf” . I don’t understand what’s happening with the church. We are looking, acting and doing the same things the world is doing. We cannot have this love for the world and the things of the world and glorify God. There may be some who don’t agree, but I’m going to speak the truth of His word in season and out of season. This is not a necessary program. God help us in these last days as I know you are coming back for a bride without spot or wrinkle. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Yolanda is a great actress… But this show is a genuine disgrace unto God. Very disrespectful on so many levels. And nothing more than Empire, BMF, and Power all rolled into one. It’s hard to watch with all of the mixed messages. While I understand that this is the way the world is, I feel like with this opportunity and this all star cast this could’ve truly been a redemptive story with a more focused theme… but everybody is crooked or crazy and it’s a true mockery in my opinion.
