I just took delivery of a new cooker. Didnt get any power cable with it. So i had to take power cable off old cooker. I took the panel off the back. There are what appears to be 2 live terminals, 3 Nuetral and one earth. Which Live and Nuetral terminals do i use?

My new Zannussi is the same. There's a schematic diagram on the back For 220 -240v , it shows both L connected together and the three N connected together. Also has a schematic for 400v .

are you not supposed to use lugs on the wires ? Good news for me if it's not required. The lugs I have won't fit in there.

I have privileg Glass ceramic hob 6421(007.394-0) with 11 wires as breakdown bellow:Black-2Brown-2GreenYellow-1White-2Blue-1Orange-1Red-2Please how do I connect this wire together into a single 13AMP Plug or Heater switch with full function. What I did is put the blacks, Browns & GreenYellewo in one plug, and the Whites, Reds & joined Blue and Orange together as Neutral in another Plug. The Hob powered but the heaters are not working.

Youd want to twist the stranded cores before bending them

Why not strip the wiring ,BEFORE feeding into the cooker body? Much easier!

Because you would have to feed 3 wire ends through instead of one ?

This is what I want to know did you ever find out ?

No. This is because a cooker (which might have 4 hot plates, a grill, and two ovens) will be too high a power rating for a 3 pin wall socket. You need a switch unit that is directly wired into the main power ring, plus a separate connector box, to handle this kind of heavy duty load.
(Just as an aside, you may have noticed that the brass power pins on a 3 pin plug can become heavily tarnished. That always occurs over time. That tarnish will create a resistance. Think about it, a lower power rated 3 pin plug, plus the plug's tarnishing causing resistance, and that's not really something you want on a higher power draw electric cooker. High electrical fire risk.)
This is also why you need a correctly rated cooker power cable; not just any piece of power cable that you might use elsewhere.

this is how NOT to do it, did not twist the cables and left the earth wire poking out,
