Arica thanks so much for the mention! I had a great time meeting up with you again and stitching at the library. Can't wait to do it again in November. Hope you had a great time at the knots and plots meet up. Your full finish turned out perfect 👍
Intriguing idea doing something regarding Adventure. Love the sharing of your thought process when putting your projects together! Many thanks for your time.
Thanks so much for another lovely video. Love stitching while looking at your projects, and listening to what you have been doing. I wish you well with lots of progress. See you next time!!!
So happy to find another Canadian flosstuber (I don’t have a channel) but love supporting a fellow Canadian. A little jealous of all the stitchy meetup opportunities in your area, I’m going to have to do some research into finding some where I live. I enjoyed seeing all of your projects. A thought about the color difference in your one project, since I’ve recently had the same issue, is that sometimes with older patterns the hand dyers have changed their formulas since the pattern was first released, so I try and go by the color on the cover. Yes, to the advent calendar idea and I’m looking forward to your WIP parade. Hope you have a good time at plots and knots!
So great to see your video pop up today! Just want I needed!!! I love stitching along with you, also you and Samatha together! I love your Book of Days, and I am going to finally join in for 2025 for sure!!! Need stitckers too!
I would love some Advent calendar type prompts, that sounds really fun. I wish I had a Knots & Plots type thing near me. Maybe I can get something like that together someday. Happy stitching.
Hi Arica! Great video always love watching. Glad you didn’t edit your random pecker🤣🤣🤣. We all need a good laugh, made me remember when Steph of Lindy Stitches on her FlossTube she was talking about Long Dog patterns and she said Long Dong🤣🤣🤣. Well back to stitching, love what you are working on and your special treats were amazing. I missed out because we were on vacation and I got behind on my FlossTube. Looking forward to your WIP parade❤❤❤❤
Hi Arika. Wow - looking forward to your Christmas design. A Christmas advent would be interesting, but I don't know if I will follow very faithfully. I will try and do my best. Thank you for the Ribbons pattern because we have an LNS here in Winnipeg - Needlepoint Place - and they have all kinds of supplies for canvas work.
You are not wrong, there was a correction available for the top corner of Autumn Quakers by Rosewood Manor and it should be P-6 instead of P-9. Love your finish and your progress on your wips. Happy stitching!
oh what?! i will have to go back and correct mine. you know, i always warn ppl to check for corrections before starting a new pattern, however i rarely follow my own advice ha!
Hi Arika - loved your Flosstube! So happy to binge watch and get caught up on all your projects, destash and events. Did you go to the Autumn Stitch North? I’ve been thinking about you since you first mentioned it. Happy Stitching 🧵🪡 Jacque 🐑
@@FibersandFlossCanada Awww - I know both you and Samantha were very excited. I hope everyone is well. I, too, did not make it in 2024. Ive noted that Jeannette Douglas will be the guest designer in 2025. I may have to make that one! 😂 She is amazing! Happy Stitching 🧵🪡 Jacque 🐑
I would maybe participate in a December prompt challenge, no guarantees as I can barely plan a week ahead but it’s a great idea. Also jealous of how fast 123stitch ships, I’m about 2-3 weeks but mine always go through Chicago and that seems to be a bit of a black hole
Sharpie! Ok Thanksgiving we all take turns throughout the day writing what we are thankful for on the pumpkin. During dessert we read it aloud. It’s anonymous and we always have a few laughs!
I see many of your videos and you do wonderful work. I'm Canadian and live in Ontario. I have no idea on how to find any get togethers to make stitchy friends, guilds, SAL's, etc. I'd love any guidance you could provide. ~ Laurie in Oro-Medonte :)
Doesn't this seem to be everyones question? The meetups arent easy to find! I do see 1) Simcoe County Embroidery Guild in Barrie and 2) Association for Whitework in Barrie and i would reach out to them and see if they welcome other stitchers to their guild. There is a lot of cross over between whitework, cross stitch, hardanger and embroidery.... if not, they may know of other groups. You can reach out to your local libraries as many often have "stitchers at the library" or check your community rec center's program for needlework. Thats where i would start, and if you cant find something you can make your own and advertise at your library and through social media, thats what i do.

Lovely video Arica. Congratulations to all the winners - I hope they enjoy the stitching.
Super that you're finding local stitchy friends.
Great Video! Thank you for not editing that part out. It was hilarious and we all need a little more laughter. Love seeing your progress. Be well!
I’m glad you enjoyed it! 😂
The interactive Advent sounds good to me! Have a great week!❤

That’s a very good point regarding the dyes, I didn’t even think about that! There’s stitchers out there - have you tried to create your own meet ups?

Hi Arica. I am glad that you got to meet up at your local library. Have fun stitching your projects!
Yes I would love an advent fun game.🎉

Love your Book of days!
Thank you Arica! So lovely to catch up with you. It's always a joy.
You are correct, I did laugh at the "comment picker" comment. 🤪 Congrats to all the winners!

Awesome episode Arica. Thank you for sharing. I am interested in learning more about your interactive Christmas event,
Thank you! I am looking forward to sharing the advent with everyone :)
Your Autumn Quaker is coming along beautifully. I had a good laugh over the “condom” picker. 🤣 Leanne @ 6packstitches
Great catch up video! Thanks for sharing
I’d love to do a Christmas Stitchy Prompt Countdown
I want to touch all my Christmas WIPS this year!
Oh me too! I cant wait to work on each and every one of my winter WIPS. Thank you for tuning in :)
Enjoyed watching, thanks for sharing your projects. Random comment picker, 🤣🤣

Sadly we did not make it. We had something come up in our families so we had to postpone but we will definitely be there in the future!

I sent you an email. I am so excited to start that cross stitch
What is on your white pumpkin in the background? Love your flosstubes ❤

It’s stitched on Doubloon. If you are curious about count or other details, you can find all this info in my description box :)
