In some ways I think this is Phoebe's way of telling Ross to drop the fight with her cause he's not gonna win and to just let it go and let her believe in her beliefs.

I honestly don’t care how it all began but I’m on team Phoebe cause Ross was a complete jerk throughout the episode
Well he should’ve known better to never try to challenge Phoebe in the first place. He should’ve just dropped it and let it go, but we know Ross can be stubborn at times. He may have a PHD, but Phoebe has her own smarts as well. And this was an argument he wasn’t going to win.
ROSS was a complete jerk?? Phoebe was just plain wrong, annoying and ignorant the whole entire episode. If you think she was even remotely correct you need to study some more.
