Funeral For Retired Major General Ralph Brown On Monday

Retired Major General and former Chief of Defence Staff Ralph Brown will be laid to rest on Monday.
Major Brown's funeral service will be held at 10:30am at All Saints Church, Queen's Park West, Port of Spain.
Following the church service, there will be a Regimental Parade with full Military Honours starting at the corner of Western Main Road and Long Circular Road, St. James.
Major Brown died at the Port of Spain General Hospital on March 29th.
He was best known for his role as Commanding Officer of the Regiment during the attempted coup on July 27th, 1990 and was instrumental in negotiations with insurgents of the Jamaat-al-Muslimeen which led to their surrender on August 1st, 1990.
Major General Brown received the Chaconia Medal Gold in 2019 in the sphere of Public Service.
