EUCHARISTIC PILGRIMAGE SF 2024

The culmination of the three-year National Eucharistic Revival will be a National Eucharistic Congress in July of 2024 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Congress “will be an experience of prayer: a liturgical act offering the Catholic Church-those in attendance in Indianapolis as well as across the country-to the Father, through the Son, and in the Holy Spirit.”
Leading up to the National Congress, there will be a National Eucharistic Pilgrimage which began from four points in the United States: Archdiocese of San Francisco, California; and continue to the Diocese of Brownsville, Texas; Diocese of Crookston, Minnesota; and the Archdiocese of Hartford, Connecticut.
Each route of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage began on Pentecost weekend (May 18-19, 2024) with highlights that transpired in this video traveling from San Francisco's Saint Mary's Cathedral to the Golden Gate Bridge and will finally arrive in Indianapolis on July 16. Sundays will include major Eucharistic processions and minor processions will take place during the week as pilgrims walk 10-15 miles a day from parish. Stops will be made at Catholic universities. Pilgrims can engage in service projects on Saturdays. Parish events along the way include 40- hour devotions, holy hours, pilgrim testimonies and lectures on the Real Presence.
