I couldn't find the Clone Wars season 7 Ahsoka in the wild and ended up having to pay scalper prices online to get her. Not my proudest moment, but I needed that figure. Hasbro's recent laziness(the 6in Captain Fordo figure is inaccurate af, and they didn't think we would notice that it was supposed to be him if they packaged it as just "Arc Trooper") has me concerned about if they eventually make a 6in Starkiller figure(WHERE TF IS HE HASBRO GAMING GREATS HAS BEEN AROUND FOR YEARS NOW!) that they will drop the ball and do something stupid like give him a reused mold. Our boy deserves his own new mold. Anyway nice to to see you back your videos are great.
Welcome back Matt. Memberships would be awesome for sure. I don't think I'm ever gonna get a Captain Rex, damn you Hasbro. I do have the BB Rex, not as cool, but it's Rex. Lol. Another killer video. 👍
Hi CKC, nice video once again. You seemingly forget the difficulties over the years of trying to pick up these releases and is kind of comforting that I was not alone in experiencing. Great work and look forward to the next upload
Why wouldn't Hasbro just ship full cases of Stormtroopers, Clonetroopers etc. as well as the cases of other characters & peg warmers? I cannot fathom their thought process. Thankfully Boba was the only one on your list that I struggled wit. I got him eventually though, thanks to my awesome wife. Good to watch another one of your videos brotherman
I didn't jump in on collecting black series figures until around 4 years ago. The first figure in my collection was a gamestop exclusive, commander wolffe, which has since been re issued. I missed some the headaches of collecting black series since I came in later. I managed to find a scarif trooper at 5 below for 5 bucks, along with chirrut and baze. About a week after I picked them up I was a different 5 below inside a mall, they had a whole wall of chirrut, baze, and scarif troopers. I managed to score all the clone wars figures from target except anakin. I came across two of the clone wars season 7 ashoka walmart exclusives one day. I was so hyped as I walked down the aisle with the mural art facing me and then I picked them up and and some douche-canoe had swapped both out for zorii bliss. I got the clone wars commander obi Wan from walgreens. Drove around to a few before I found a walgreens not fair from my then apartment that had 4 of them in store. Rex is the one I could never, ever, EVER find in store. Be it target, walmart, gamestop, Ross, five below, etc. Ironically I own both the bad batch tvc rex and BS one. The general release one has eluded me. Don't know if cara dune or cad bane were anywhere near cracking your list?
I was fortunate to be at Disney on Force Friday and picked up the entire wave of first editions. Other than that it’s been on-line purchases for figures on your list. Glad to see you back! Always enjoy your videos 👍🏻
Baze and Chirrut. When those were released I was working a job right down the street from Target, and I hit them up EVERY DAY. They were just setting up a four-sided mid-aisle TBS display that was pre-stocked with the 'Rogue One' figs. I think it held 96 figures. I tore through the whole thing and on the bottom shelf, in the back, was ONE Baze and ONE Chirrut. Looked for doubles for a friend but NOPE. That was the ONLY time I saw them in the wild. No other Target near me got that floor display.
yeah bro, i feel ya, i was out there pretty much everyday and never saw them! i had to buy them online but eventually found them both at 5 Below like 6-8 months later
I never found them at normal stores but I found them at 5 below. Mine only got 1 of each in. I called 5 below and they held both for me till I could get there. That’s the quickest I ever got ready 🤣
Bro we need to get a beer! Haha. So forgive the long comment but it's worth the read. So I work for the enemy that is Wal Mart and during the time of this tale was the manager of the toy department. So fun fact I had 0 control over what my department would receive even if I reached out to the sales vendors ie Hasbro, Mattel etc. Which in and of itself is insane. I work at the highest volume store in the state and yet they wouldn't send me some of the most popular items that would sell like crazy. So I had no idea that I was even getting the Ashoka endcap shipper until I come in one morning and overnights put it out. There it was holy shit. So I immediately blow my first break and buy one of each figure. Man did I want to at least double up on the Ashoka clone especially considering there was about 10 of them but I still only got one. Then a regular who comes in literally every single morning also respectfully buys 1 of each ( he's a cool guy we have become drinking buddies) then by 7:30....... Mind you we have been open for 30 minutes at this point, some super douche finn comes in and cleans them out..... And I mean all of them.... Probably loaded up 20 figures. I had never even seen him before..... I had to use every ounce of will power I had to stop myself from telling him what a cancerous piece of shit he was and how lucky he was I was on the clock cause I'm that guy, if we are in line at say a force Friday and you clean the hooks right in front of me I'm going to tell you exactly how I feel about it lol. I could rant until I'm blue in the face about my hatred for scalpers...... In the words of Hubert Farnsworth " GET A JOB "
haha yeah man thats crazy, yeah for real if i saw that me and dude are scrapping in the parking lot. ive yet to see any real scalping in person but Im sure you see it all the time
@@CANTKILLCHEWIE Sad but true.... And I used the opportunity to network and try and meet new cool like minded people. That regular I mentioned that I became pals with has been a great thing. I gave him my 1st edition Mando and he was so happy that over our new friendship he connected me with the target clone wars figures and some gi joes that I never would have found without him. I feel many collectors would prefer a good trade where both parties are happy vs paying any kind of inflation. I have a $200 fig you want and you have a $100 fig I want? Great we both paid 20 bucks for them let's swap lol. Then I meet a guy that after a little talking he proceeded to tell me he was down to 24 carbonized Mando's...... I'm like hold on did you just say 24? And down to? As in you had more?? I told that ass that I didn't care if he had the #1 thing I was looking for I wouldn't give him a thing out of my collection if his life depended on it. I bring that up because what better example? That one POS robbed soooo many people out of the opportunity to find that figure for themselves. Those people are making me question my hobby constantly...
I’ve been with the black series since it’s inception back in 2013, and man I will never forget this. Boba Fett has always been one of my favorite characters and when I heard he was in wave 2, I was searching endlessly. I managed to find everyone except him. One day I went to target and they must have put out a fresh case because he was sitting right in front. Unfortunately for me, another collector just managed to get to aisle before me and right as I was walking up, he put him in his cart. Heartbreaking to say the very least.
Season 7 Ashoka walmart exclusives were my hardest hunt. They were showing on inventory tracker and I went to my walmart 9 times in 24 hrs. Made like 10 collector friends lol. But ended up walking in when they were setting up the endcap finally, I could've cried. Miss that feeling 🥲
got mine at a local collectibles shop for 50$ a couple months ago right after i watched season 7 of clone wars (my fav ending to a show of all time) and i was so happy about it
Someone scooped all them up within the first 10 minutes of each of my Walmarts opening. For some reason one hid an Ahsoka behind some NECA figures and that’s how I got mine. I always check behind figures and on top and bottoms of shelves for that very reason.
I took the day off work and went to Walmart on Triple Force Friday in 2019. I went early and hung around the toy section. The only figures I found were Cal Kestis and Kylo Ren. Of course, I was hoping to get the Mandalorian, but couldn't because a Walmart snatched up most of the figures (in the two cases the store received) for himself. He even gloated and showed them off to me. I never wanted to punch someone so much in my life.
I lucked on a few of these: -Found ONE of the Captain Rex at a Target... on sale! I never found any more in any stores, INCLUDING Five Below! -Found the Clone Commander Obi Wan in Walgreens twice, I believe... and picked up two of them the first time i did. -Found ONE of the Scarif Squad Leaders MONTHS LATER in a random Walgreens. Never found them since. Also - EXPLAIN THE LOGIC, HASBRO of making the Scarif Squad leader a standard release, but the Scarif Trooper, an ARMY BUILDER, a WalMart exclusive?! And boy do I wish I'd picked up a Slave Leia or 3 back when they were peg hangers. Also, you Rules for Exclusivse should be chiseled in Carbonite and chucked through the window of Hasbro HQ!
Black Series Alo Asty was available all over the place in the UK when it came out, in super markets, they were like the most common black series figure for months. First Black Series figure I got actually.
Back in the day during the early days of the Black Series.I found original Orange Box Boba Fett figure at my local Walgreens and I was excited as hell! I couldn't believe my eyes. I quickly bought the up the figure and everything. Memories😌
Some of those figures never even showed up down here at all! Sure I saw some that were being sold for crazy prices at toy shows ect, but to this day I have never seen any of the Solo wave so that was that, I did find a few white boxes at our equivalent of Game stop as well as the Purge trooper, which I had about 4 of them now I have 2 left. Livestreams & members would be awesome. Great video as alway's Matt. Cheers👍🏻🍻
I was at a Target for the Mando Triple Force Friday. Couldn’t get one of the Carbonized Mandos because I wasn’t willing to fight with a couple 50 year olds to get one. Left slightly disappointed with just a “White Box” Mando.. little did I know 😅😅
There needs to be at least one wave or Archives figures that is JUST troop builders: -CLONE TROOPER (Phase 1-Plain, New Sculpt) -CLONE TROOPER (Phase 2-Plain, New Sculpt) -REBEL FLEET TROOPER -IMPERIAL "MUD" TROOPER
I was in Minnesota at the time and got super lucky finding those Target Clone Wars exclusives Went to four different Targets. It was a fun adventure 😩👌🏾 Walmart I got lucky online with Ashoka and Death Trooper. I had the Purge Trooper in my hand but didn’t get it. I got that ObiWan and Rex for $26 on eBay. Damn, and I was gonna sell all these guys. Kinda got tired of collecting
I think all of the Mandalorian (Din Djarin) figures as a whole should've been #1. The original figure I bought at a Walmart when it was first released, I never saw in a store again. The Beskar version, I never saw in stores & had to get from BBTS. I've never seen the the initial Din/ Grogu 2 pack in stores. Other figures I would've added to the list from personal experience: Mandalorian & Remnant Stromtrooper (Remnant Trooper, got at a Target and never seen it since) Hunter (had to get from Mercari) Crosshairs (found at a 2nd & Charles) Red box Qui-Gon Jinn Original Leia in Boushh disguise Gamestop R5-D4 figure Jango Fett BT-1 Red box Tusken Raider Heavy Infantry Mandalorian (had to settle for the Carbonized Version) Commander Bly Death Watch Mandalorian
I agree with your rule about Clone Wars and Boba Fetts. Basically all Mandalorian characters too, no more exclusives! And seriously, Walgreens needs a better system for tracking down specific figures. I got lucky with the 212th, my buddy saw one and grabbed it for me after both of us spent weeks of checking various stores
Haha!! This was a beautifully structured and highly entertaining rant dude. Thank you for that. I completely agree with that list too. Also on the membership front I second what Dave Edge said, a signed hot toy for every new member would be rad. Completely on board with that. But failing that live streams and the odd milestone give away would be badass 😁 great video man, cheers
Every Walgreens in my area had at least 2 general Obi-Wan figures. I didn't realize the figure was rare until I started looking for other figures on eBay.
Ah I remember the clone wars wave I drove 30 minutes every day to target for 3 weeks in a row before I figured out that they usually went into stock at 7am and that’s when you could see if they were available at your nearest store. Sad I had to do all of that but hey I did end up getting the whole wave
I don’t have any targets near me but I was able to meet up with a local collector that sold me the target clone wars Anakin for $10. It’s surprising but there’s still good collectors out there that aren’t out to scalp or make a quick buck
Glad you are posting again bro! Live streams would be great and as for video ideas, I would genuinely watch you unwrap a potato! Membership would be cool. OOTB does a monthly dollar subscription which you could try out. In return, each new member could be sent a Hot Toy Boba Fett, signed by yourself! I'm sure this would be a winner....Loved your collection tour video that I somehow missed!!? Super to see you back and hope you are well my man.
As a previous Walmart worker if anybody said anything about how they couldn't sell it they were usually lying because you have a lot of toy hunters that work there that would "shop from the backroom"
No way dude! So I was watching empire strikes back and clicked on the video and the part in ur vid where Han says “I do” I was on that exact scene in the movie! Crazy! I remember trying so hard to find TCW Ahsoka! I managed to find her but unfortunately one of her sabers broke so she isn’t as rare anymore! I still love her though! The best and my only Ahsoka figure!
Your rant at 13:07 happened to me with the empire strikes back retro collection. I was hunting down Bespin Luke because I knew if I waited I might never see it on shelves. I searched online for him and the Walmart website said they had him. I drove to my Walmart ran straight to the Star Wars figures and couldn’t find him. Some employee said they were out of stock and they couldn’t sell it to me. Great
A discord would be a good idea to make! And yes those are some very tough to get figures, good thing they are slowing down a bit on exclusives maybe one or two every few months but that’s not as bad as before
Ah the last Force Friday. I got a funny story. I went to Target that day to get just the regular Mando and Second Sister before they opened. I walked past this other collector. I suspected a scalper, but the doors open we both are eyeballing each other doing that fast paced walk. I'm familiar with this Target he ends up going down the wrong aisle. Nothing new there, so we go our ways to ask an employee for help. We both ended up waiting at the back stock room door for the new merchandise to be pulled out. Well they pull the u boat of merchandise out and I took the lone BS case and cut it open with my pocket knife (the employee was like dang your ready!) Grabbed my 2 l wanted and left. I saw a box of the carbonized Mandos but I don't care for those. Well hope you enjoy this story of toy hunting.
haha nice dude, yeah Im been there before. generally another collector will talk to you, a scalper wont. but yeah i hate when i have to tell the store about what product should be out on the floor, comon guys!
Its sad i found the Purge Trooper at Gamestop by accident. The Mando figures I found both but I had dipped out of Star Wars toy collecting at that point. Honestly i think I've found half the figures on this list at points where I was not toy collecting. Sad face.
The easiest figure out of this list that was easily available in my area had to be the general Obi-Wan kenobi walgreens exclusive. At one point they were peg warming. I'm so happy I bought one because the price for this figure has sky rocketed. The hardest to find in my area had to be the first edition mandolorian. It was a mess to find one and all the scalpers snatched them all up. Great video.
It’s funny bc I’ve have never seen that Obi wan where I live, hell I don’t think I’ve ever seen a single Walgreens exclusive at a Walgreens where I live in general
YEAH!! That BOBA! It is what started it all for me. I remember hunting it in the wild and on Amazon for MONTHS. Couldn't justify getting the SDCC exclusive with Carbonite Han, so I had to resort to a custom cast online... But glad they finally released him recently as a stand-alone.
I’m still upset about the Walmart and target clone wars figures. I grew up with clone wars and spent weeks hunting those down and ONLY managed to find Ahsoka and mine has fused joints, scuffed paint, and crooked line work. Also it was overall just a bad figure with crappy reuse. Still upset about that.
I had a heck of a time finding the first release of the Mando Stormtrooper and ESB Vader. I usually end up getting Walmart exclusives when the hype of the pre-order dies down and the figs are on-hand. This luck applies to my acquisitions of the following: BB Rex; Clone Trooper Fives; Clone Trooper Jesse. It's the Walgreens and Target exclusives, that may as well be for sale on the moon, that are my personal nemesis.
Great video, Matt! I got super lucky with the Target and Walmart Clone Wars figures. Some of the others - different story... Nothing should be this difficult. Keep up the good work!
For the most part, I only collect troopers and other imperial character. Boba - lucked out and was able to order the wave 2 case. Never saw him in the wild. Hux and Asty - saw both at Walmart pretty early on, bought Hux. Mando - didn't bother with any of the carbonized figures, but I don't think I saw him. Scarif Trooper - found him at Walmart. First and (until a few weeks ago) the only time I went to that specific Walmart. Target ones - found the pilot at Target, never saw the other trooper. Didn't want the Jedi so I don't know if I saw them. Walmart ones - pre-ordered the Ahsoka trooper, not interested in the others, don't know if I saw them. Obi-Wan - didn't see, never checked. Purge - don't remember, but I have him. Baze & Chirrut - never saw them, though I wasn't looking either. Rex - I think I got him Amazon, not 100% sure. I know I have him. Also found the cloaked one hidden with some Pops at Walmart. Mando - got the black boxed version on Amazon, midnight sale on Force Friday. I never saw the first release of RotS Anakin. All the stores here were choking on the previous wave's Obi-Wan, so that wave never showed up.
The ironic thing is... I found the Black Series Clone Wars Ahsoka figure at a collectors store at a mall I went to today for like $64. I didn't find it the first time I walked in, but when I did a second time with my sister, I looked closer, and found her. And here I am now, after finding this video in my recommended. What are the odds?
Yeah man, its rough finding stuff that i like in stores. Right now I know 6 or 7 places where I can go buy Lando. Also Princess Leia is everywhere. No updates to any of the shelves in my area for several months. I'm lucky to have the largest comic shop on the East coast about 5 minutes from my house. Every time I walk in there I come out with a figure that's hard to find. Theres probably 120 Blackseries figures on pegs right now in there. They have RazorCrest and Sailbarge too, probably 3000 Pops, tons of vintage stuff. Galactic comics in South Carolina. I appreciate this vid bro, it's good to know I'm not the only one striking out in the stores. If it's not Hasbro dropping the ball its scalpers buying everything they find or the store employees not putting them out. Yeah guys check your local comic shops.
so let me rephrase for second. initially hux and asty may have been on pegs but i never saw them, i talking about right when their wave dropped, but their prices shot up to around $60 each before their wave was re-released months later and they were much easier to find
I remember (unfortunately) going to Wal-Mart just before the release of Revenge of the Sith to pick up as many 3.75 figures as I could afford at the time.
I could never find the 6" Anakin Skywalker and prices were well over $100. Then my Dad found it at Ross for $9.99. I still have the price tag on it for the fun memory of that hunt and conclusion!
@@ilyaastariq889 definitely! He has always been supportive of my collection and bought me a bunch of figures back when I was a kid. It's a special thing we share.
Goddamn had I known Hux was so rare I might’ve kept him. I wasn’t a fan of the character after episode 8 and I gladly sold him with a massive lot sometime after that film, but it’s strange how circumstances get. Hopefully whoever owns him now enjoys it way more than I do.
Ever wonder why figures are available on eBay at gouged prices before they hit the retail store pegs? 🤔 Maybe those are the "display" stock and eBay is the display.
I live in Mexico and the Walmart Ahsoka Mandalorian line was on time for christmas 2020 and I got to see plenty of stock for the whole line. It lasted a couple of days but it was sold out by the end of the holidays. I was able to gift myself the Ahsoka that year. I remember they even re stocked the Mandalorian loyalist on January Walmart is nice with stocks in here :) wish we had Target stores tho...
I luckily have every figure you showed brand new boxed I had no idea these were rare I got all canonized off one online store like all my star wars there's no need to go hunting for them I didn't pay any extra
Every time some exclusive comes out that is next to impossible to get and then priced to the moon i patiently await your rant. Good to see you back. If you think black series is a problem try gi joe classified 😤
I remember hunting for the first Darth Revan figure back when it was first released, only to find the same issue with distribution and I won't talk about reselling the damn thing. I found it on amazon a while after tho'...
The only figure I could ever find from the Target exclusive clone Wars figures was the pilot. I never found any of the four Walmart exclusive clone Wars figures. I had to go to evil-Bay for all of them
Just a heads up.... Look up (Poppa Gord)... His a UA-cam channel he sometimes gets starwars figures and he's in Canada reach out to him make a connection so you'll be updated...
after their wave we re-released a few months after the wave initially came out they were plentiful, especially at kmart. but there was a period of time between those two things where they both were hard to find and were going for $60 on Amazon and maybe $45-50 on ebay
My most difficult figure to find at retail price was Commander Kenobi it was on amazon at 23 euros I couldn't believe it, I ordered it and it arrived safely. The next day the price was 84 euros.
I was getting worried you left us for good this time
haha nah just been super busy
@@CANTKILLCHEWIE its all good, we all know how that is

I got the clone wars commander obi Wan from walgreens. Drove around to a few before I found a walgreens not fair from my then apartment that had 4 of them in store. Rex is the one I could never, ever, EVER find in store. Be it target, walmart, gamestop, Ross, five below, etc. Ironically I own both the bad batch tvc rex and BS one. The general release one has eluded me.
Don't know if cara dune or cad bane were anywhere near cracking your list?
yeah those came close, they were both pain in the asses to find
I was fortunate to be at Disney on Force Friday and picked up the entire wave of first editions. Other than that it’s been on-line purchases for figures on your list. Glad to see you back! Always enjoy your videos 👍🏻
oh nice man, good work out there! hey thanks man!
@@zforce4399 haha yeah 24?! thats insane
Heartbreaking to say the very least.
ugh man that hurts
God, those Clone Wars exclusives pain me so much. I only got the 332nd Trooper and Echo out of both waves
yeah those were too hard to find
Season 7 Ashoka walmart exclusives were my hardest hunt. They were showing on inventory tracker and I went to my walmart 9 times in 24 hrs.
Made like 10 collector friends lol.
But ended up walking in when they were setting up the endcap finally, I could've cried.
Miss that feeling 🥲
haha yeah man i woulda put her higher on the list if i didnt find 6 of her a month later
got mine at a local collectibles shop for 50$ a couple months ago right after i watched season 7 of clone wars (my fav ending to a show of all time) and i was so happy about it
Someone scooped all them up within the first 10 minutes of each of my Walmarts opening.
Such a nice feeling when I get a CKC notification on UA-cam! 👍🥳
haha hey thanks man!
Dry sheets guy! dying lol 😂😂😂. I also liked the image of the 501st clones appearing to be giving some attitude to Hasbro
hahaha hey thanks man!
I lucked on a few of these:
-Found ONE of the Captain Rex at a Target...
Also, you Rules for Exclusivse should be chiseled in Carbonite and chucked through the window of Hasbro HQ!
haha hey man thanks!
Black Series Alo Asty was available all over the place in the UK when it came out, in super markets, they were like the most common black series figure for months. First Black Series figure I got actually.
haha no way
Back in the day during the early days of the Black Series.I found original Orange Box Boba Fett figure at my local Walgreens and I was excited as hell! I couldn't believe my eyes. I quickly bought the up the figure and everything. Memories😌
haha hell yeah man!
Yes Sir I got that (Boba Fett) orange box and the The prototype Fett, the Archive and the Deluxe.... and so on..
@@ilyaastariq889 nice dude! yeah i got them all too
Some of those figures never even showed up down here at all! Cheers👍🏻🍻
hey thanks man!
Great Topic, 2nd list YES 👍. Your videos are always interesting, glad to be connected to your Channel. Thanks for sharing.🙏❤️👊
hey thanks man! i really appreciate it!
I was at a Target for the Mando Triple Force Friday. Couldn’t get one of the Carbonized Mandos because I wasn’t willing to fight with a couple 50 year olds to get one. Left slightly disappointed with just a “White Box” Mando.. little did I know 😅😅
haha well it looks like you won the fight man
I’m still seeing Rouge One and Force Awakens peg warmers to this day lol
haha yup theyre out there
welcome back!!! Was legit worried.
hey thanks dude, yeah was just busy
I am so glad that you uploaded a new video! :D great as always!!
hey thanks man!
Yes! Glad to have you back Matt!
hey thanks man!
There needs to be at least one wave or Archives figures that is JUST troop builders:
-CLONE TROOPER (Phase 1-Plain, New Sculpt)
-CLONE TROOPER (Phase 2-Plain, New Sculpt)
-REBEL FLEET TROOPER
-IMPERIAL "MUD" TROOPER
yeah id buy those
Return of the King!
haha hey thanks man!
Excellent list my friend. What’s box Mando was the only one I was never able to find.
haha you only found the first edition mando? how lucky
Kinda got tired of collecting
haha yeah a lot of collectors who have been at it for a while are starting to get tired of it, mostly because of hasbros BS
Other figures I would've added to the list from personal experience:
Mandalorian & Remnant Stromtrooper (Remnant Trooper, got at a Target and never seen it since)
Hunter (had to get from Mercari)
Crosshairs (found at a 2nd & Charles)
Red box Qui-Gon Jinn
Original Leia in Boushh disguise
Gamestop R5-D4 figure
Jango Fett
BT-1
Red box Tusken Raider
Heavy Infantry Mandalorian (had to settle for the Carbonized Version)
Commander Bly
Death Watch Mandalorian
yeah those are good ones too, if I was gonna make a 2nd list a lot of those would be on there
The production on theis video in the first 32 seconds ALONE made me sub to you!!! GREAT work so far! Now on to the rest of the video.
haha hey thanks man!
I agree with your rule about Clone Wars and Boba Fetts. Basically all Mandalorian characters too, no more exclusives! And seriously, Walgreens needs a better system for tracking down specific figures. I got lucky with the 212th, my buddy saw one and grabbed it for me after both of us spent weeks of checking various stores
yeah i feel ya, its a total cr@p shoot trying to find walgreens exclusives
Haha!! This was a beautifully structured and highly entertaining rant dude. Thank you for that. I completely agree with that list too. Also on the membership front I second what Dave Edge said, a signed hot toy for every new member would be rad. Completely on board with that. But failing that live streams and the odd milestone give away would be badass 😁 great video man, cheers
haha thanks man! haha ok signed Hot toys boba fett for every member: check. but yes, member only giveaways is an excellent idea!
Every Walgreens in my area had at least 2 general Obi-Wan figures. I didn't realize the figure was rare until I started looking for other figures on eBay.
haha really? nah i never saw 1
Ah I remember the clone wars wave I drove 30 minutes every day to target for 3 weeks in a row before I figured out that they usually went into stock at 7am and that’s when you could see if they were available at your nearest store. Sad I had to do all of that but hey I did end up getting the whole wave
oh good man, yeah i feel your pain
Super to see you back and hope you are well my man.
hahaha if i could send out signed hot toys boba fetts, i definitely would
@@CANTKILLCHEWIE I would definitely want one!
I actually was @ Disney World when Mando first edition came out. Got him and 2nd Sister
yeah i heard disney was a goood spot too to get them
As a previous Walmart worker if anybody said anything about how they couldn't sell it they were usually lying because you have a lot of toy hunters that work there that would "shop from the backroom"
haha i figured
No way dude! So I was watching empire strikes back and clicked on the video and the part in ur vid where Han says “I do” I was on that exact scene in the movie! Crazy! I remember trying so hard to find TCW Ahsoka! I managed to find her but unfortunately one of her sabers broke so she isn’t as rare anymore! I still love her though! The best and my only Ahsoka figure!
haha thats awesome!
All the GameStop’s near me had the purge troopers. I also never understood how Walgreens managed to get exclusive black series, it makes zero sense.
haha yeah I cant explain that one
Your rant at 13:07 happened to me with the empire strikes back retro collection. I was hunting down Bespin Luke because I knew if I waited I might never see it on shelves. I searched online for him and the Walmart website said they had him. I drove to my Walmart ran straight to the Star Wars figures and couldn’t find him. Some employee said they were out of stock and they couldn’t sell it to me. Great
A discord would be a good idea to make! And yes those are some very tough to get figures, good thing they are slowing down a bit on exclusives maybe one or two every few months but that’s not as bad as before
hmmm, thats an interesting idea....
Uggh I didn’t know how rare that purge trooper is! I saw it at GameStop and I just decided not to get it. I never saw that figure again…
haha yeah it was super rare for a little bit
this happened to me too and I had to drive to many game stops just to find the purge trooper I think I was at least a couple hours away from home
haha yeah man the struggle is real
It's so funny that the scarif trooper Commander was common in my area I couldn't find the Walmart scarif trooper to save my life.
haha really? i found a bunch of the walmart one
Glad to have you back, sir
hey thank you my friend
Its sad i found the Purge Trooper at Gamestop by accident. The Mando figures I found both but I had dipped out of Star Wars toy collecting at that point. Honestly i think I've found half the figures on this list at points where I was not toy collecting.
Sad face.
haha well at least you found them 🤷♂️
I’m very privileged that I have a lifetime Star Wars collector for a dad. He found me the Black Series Rex and General Obi-wan lol
haha nice dude!
I found your Bai's and Chirut at Five below. I got a set each for me and my two boys. We were excited to get them.
yeah thats where i finally grabbed them too
The easiest figure out of this list that was easily available in my area had to be the general Obi-Wan kenobi walgreens exclusive.
Still upset about that.
haha that sucks man
I had a heck of a time finding the first release of the Mando Stormtrooper and ESB Vader.
My biggest takeaway from the video (and something I already knew): If you collect Black Series Clone Wars figures, expect a lot of pain.
haha 100%
Great video, Matt! I got super lucky with the Target and Walmart Clone Wars figures. Some of the others - different story... Nothing should be this difficult. Keep up the good work!
Glad to have you back!!
hey thanks man!
Anytime chewie drops you gotta drop everything
haah hey thanks man!
All the stores here were choking on the previous wave's Obi-Wan, so that wave never showed up.
oh right, yeah the ROTS anakin, thats a good one!
The General Obi-Wan Walgreens exclusive was all over the shelves in Killeen and Copperas Cove, Texas. I picked mine up at the first store I tried.
Been a minute, glad you posted again, ps carbonized mando is on bigbad toys for $47
oh shit, i dont know if i saw that
The ironic thing is... I found the Black Series Clone Wars Ahsoka figure at a collectors store at a mall I went to today for like $64. I didn't find it the first time I walked in, but when I did a second time with my sister, I looked closer, and found her. And here I am now, after finding this video in my recommended. What are the odds?
I can't recall seeing any of the figures on this list in the wild.
haha yeah they were hard to find
Walmart clone wars never saw not one of them.
Never saw Captain Rex, and last but not least Phantom menace carded Darth Maul.
yeah man its been crazy
That blows my mind Hux was hard to find. He was everywhere at the stores in my town during that time.
I never saw Hux on pegs. He was the first thing I ordered from Entertainment Earth.
so let me rephrase for second. initially hux and asty may have been on pegs but i never saw them, i talking about right when their wave dropped, but their prices shot up to around $60 each before their wave was re-released months later and they were much easier to find
Yeah I bought him in the 3pack but no hat??? What's that about?...
I remember (unfortunately) going to Wal-Mart just before the release of Revenge of the Sith to pick up as many 3.75 figures as I could afford at the time.
haha yeah that TVC ROS Rey is worth a lot of money now
Welcome back!!! Freaking 212th at Walgreens before they add it to their website.
haha yup, i just wrote this before it really started hitting stores
Man I actually got 2 of the Clone 212th troopers from Walgreens and it was a real B@#$ trying to find this 1 ..
I’m my area, we have an over abundance of greef carga, kuill, and general Lando
haha yeah man too man
Same here
I could never find the 6" Anakin Skywalker and prices were well over $100. Then my Dad found it at Ross for $9.99. I still have the price tag on it for the fun memory of that hunt and conclusion!
haha yeah man i remember when they started to show up in Ross for $10! absolutely crazy
Congrats....Dude and you should thank your Pops for getting it for you... good looking out Pop's.
@@ilyaastariq889 definitely! He has always been supportive of my collection and bought me a bunch of figures back when I was a kid. It's a special thing we share.
dude it’s been so long since i’ve watched you. i woke up and was like hey wait a minute and spent like 10 minutes trying to find you
Goddamn had I known Hux was so rare I might’ve kept him. I wasn’t a fan of the character after episode 8 and I gladly sold him with a massive lot sometime after that film, but it’s strange how circumstances get. Hopefully whoever owns him now enjoys it way more than I do.
hes not very rare now but there was a period of time he was pretty expensive
Ever wonder why figures are available on eBay at gouged prices before they hit the retail store pegs? 🤔 Maybe those are the "display" stock and eBay is the display.
haha yup ebay exclusives
I live in Mexico and the Walmart Ahsoka Mandalorian line was on time for christmas 2020 and I got to see plenty of stock for the whole line. It lasted a couple of days but it was sold out by the end of the holidays. I was able to gift myself the Ahsoka that year.
I remember they even re stocked the Mandalorian loyalist on January
Walmart is nice with stocks in here :) wish we had Target stores tho...
I luckily have every figure you showed brand new boxed I had no idea these were rare I got all canonized off one online store like all my star wars there's no need to go hunting for them I didn't pay any extra
nice
Dude I love your videos! Thanks dude
hey thanks man!
lol. That’s right. I completely forgot the Entertainment Earth Scandal.
haha yeah it was heart breaking
Imperial Crosshair and Boss and the other commandos are good, actually

The 4 clone wars figures were actually the only full set I've ever found in stores besides archives
oh nice
Keep them coming, so so true. Love yr content
hey thanks man!
A livestream every week would be cool
nice dude, yeah I think I might do that
How about a list of the all time worst Black Series waves? I know it would be Solo and Sequels waves, bit it would still be fun to watch.
haha yeah thats a good idea, it would be hard to pick which one is number 1 tho
Funny story. I found two of the white box Mandos coming home from class. Sent one to a friend of mine, and we both opened them up. If we only knew 😆
I remember hunting for the first Darth Revan figure back when it was first released, only to find the same issue with distribution and I won't talk about reselling the damn thing. I found it on amazon a while after tho'...
oh hell yeah, revan was impossible to find when he first came out
The only figure I could ever find from the Target exclusive clone Wars figures was the pilot. I never found any of the four Walmart exclusive clone Wars figures. I had to go to evil-Bay for all of them
yeah i feel ya man
My problem is that every single store is full of return the jedi lando as all the store has.
dude, yes, its crazy. lonely lando
👏 great list, agreed!
👍 livestreams and membership
cool man thanks!
The first Din Djarin and the Child two pack was non-existent in Canada.
yeah both of those were tough to find here too, good call
Just a heads up.... Look up (Poppa Gord)... His a UA-cam channel he sometimes gets starwars figures and he's in Canada reach out to him make a connection so you'll be updated...
@@ilyaastariq889 yes i know poppa gord, good channel and instagram
The pilot and huh were peg warmers at my target for years 😂😂😂
after their wave we re-released a few months after the wave initially came out they were plentiful, especially at kmart. but there was a period of time between those two things where they both were hard to find and were going for $60 on Amazon and maybe $45-50 on ebay
I've seen the white box mando once in person at a local toy shop of mine. They were selling it for like $300💀
haha holy crap
My most difficult figure to find at retail price was Commander Kenobi it was on amazon at 23 euros I couldn't believe it, I ordered it and it arrived safely. The next day the price was 84 euros.
ha nice score!
My man is back!!
hey thanks man!
