    You can easily realize how good is Draymond’s passing and reading of the game.

      Now check out the screens (including the illegal ones that he's slick enough to get away with on a regular basis)... that's the part of Draymond's that people don't talk about enough. The amount of space he creates for Steph is honestly unbelievable.

    Mainly why he’s the hardest to guard in the game today and probably ever. Dude has God-level conditioning and even if you’re a good defender, you ain’t chasing him around the whole game without gassing out…

    • @greyklopstock7155
      @greyklopstock7155 5 місяців тому +4

      It's the same thing that made Jerry Rice impossible to guard. He trained his conditioning so obsessively so that you might keep up in the first half, but you get past that and he's still operating at like 90% and you're at maybe 80% at best. But what makes Steph even scarier is that you have to navigate an obstacle course of screens and off kilter stop and goes. Steph will sometimes just idle for a bit, and the second he knows you let your guard down, he's gone.
      I was at a game in Oracle against the sixers where Steph had 45 on 8 threes. It was the most impressive thing I've ever seen. What you don't see on TV is incredible. He hit a contested, double teamed 30 footer, the coach called timeout, and both of his defenders turned to their coach and threw their hands up in frustration. It's straight up demoralizing for these guys. I saw it myself, so I know it happens

      He gasses out opposing players 10-15 years younger than him and make other NBA caliber players throw up trying to keep up with his training regimen. His stamina is out of this world.

    This is what makes him top tier. These clips are all makes, but he gets his teammates so many points just based off movement and fear.

    This is one of the parts of his game that separates him from other top PG’s. He’s always moving

  • @andrewjoyce7374

    I would bet you a large chunk of change that better than 1/2 of the people that covered MJ would rather cover MJ than Steph. Including "the glove" Gary Payton, who was on record as saying he would rather cover MJ than John Stockton. I used to marvel at how much Reggie Miller moved. Steph studied Reggie. Maybe the hardest cover in the history of basketball, because of his range set of skills and shooting both with and off the ball. Ridiculous and underrated imo.

    Even watching the defense trying to guard him is exhausting. His stamina is on 99 lol. At 6’2 one of the most unguardable players ever. Even if you get the ball out of his hands you still gotta guard him. Passes the ball off and cuts a whole different direction.

  • @gabrielvalencia6358

    Casuals will never understand that Curry’s ability to move without the ball is what makes him a defenders worst nightmare. It is what separates him from the rest of the all time great Point Guards. Arguably the toughest player to guard in the history of the game.

    It amazes me how much running he does and how he sprints behind the arc and shoots the ball as soon as he catches it and shoots it after running and then stopping and having the balance and form to put up the 3 and does this the whole game! I could never imagine being that good! Its mind blowing how good he is and i dont even like the guy

  • @stephenobisanya

    Somebody send this to Caitlin Clark and her coach. She needs to be running these exact plays and she needs to be hunting for shots instead of being passive.

    • @liamcephus9687
      @liamcephus9687 5 місяців тому

      She got the gas tank for this? Steph’s game is based on the best endurance in league history. He drowns defenses. And offenses running around after him all game.

    • @stephenobisanya
      @stephenobisanya 5 місяців тому

      @@liamcephus9687 probably not this year cuz she hasn’t rested in like a year. But next season, undoubtedly, with some work in the off season. Not at Steph’s pace but her version of it. It kills me that she just stands there once she dishes the ball. And the coach does nothing about that.

    It's really comical when dudes say Draymond got carried to 4 chips because that offense isn't nearly gonna be as fluid without his passing, and 99% of frontcourt players in the league can't pass like him.
