Thanks for all the hard work! You're the only content creator I know who's doing all this number crunching in the global community. Maybe there are others, but they're not posting videos on UA-cam.
Thanks! Well, I am still reliant on the work of others and my calculations are often subjective as well ( I mean, I am the one doing the testing after all), but I hope they at least help to spark discussions and give a right direction to go towards. That's all I want :D
Please keep in mind my simulated runs are simulated after all, based on input from personal testing AND estimated enemy defenses. This WILL make data differ from ACTUAL damage when the time comes, but it should give an approximated overview on how things could turn out in the future as they are all based on the same input. As always, don't take all numbers at face-value.
Thanks for testing. A ~30% increase in dps for a fully maxed character is too good, It's like levelling from i3 lvl 1 to 60. Not even p1 of most characters give that much dps.
Keep in mind this is in a solo environment. If you add debuffs and buffs from your other characters it will be higher since everything scales with each other. But as teams are flexible and change over time due to newer and better units and psychubes, testing that would make this video irrelevant within like 2 months.
yup just upgraded my main dps from r4 to r5 after this video. might not be the 30% increase we see here for r9->r10 but I reckon it's at least 10% which I'm more than happy with
@@bluerum896 in most games you see diminishing returns and my centurion wants those gold knells for r10 now so it becomes really costly so I am glad there is payoff
@@mrmeat168yep playing for meta sucks (done this in many games. it gets boring sonce everyone uses the same char same strat sane build it gets boring pretty fast) sure you get ez clears but at the end of the day people play who they want.
I'm curious about the incremental gains between resonance levels beyond 5, particularly between R9 and R10. Considering the significant stamina investment required to farm materials, I'm wondering if it's more beneficial to allocate that stamina to increase the Resonance of other characters from R5 to 6/7/8/9, etc., rather than pushing a character from R9 to R10.
I would need to test this, right now I am unfortunately busy with other videos on my list. But I'll add it to my list of considerations, thanks for the suggestion!
I'm pretty sure the incremental gains is higher on R7, R9, and R10 because on that lv the grid size is also increased which mean a higher stats increase especially R10 because they literally increase the grid on both sides. So just focus on R7 or R9 on your main dps, other support/healer could do with R5 or R7.
R10 is definitely huge. My Melania and Centurion have been slapping. How much do you think is it worth leveling a character after i3? Would it make sense to stop at a certain threshold?
It is very expensive to go from lv50 i2 to lv60 i3 and while i3 might be worth it for certain characters due to their i3 bonus, leveling them to 60 is PROBABLY not worth it. However, I have not done calcs on that yet, so I cannot say for certain
@@iamrivenous Ye, I have been quite critical with i3 so far. Rn, I got Melania, Charlie and Bkorn up there. It would definitely be interesting to see cost vs. return on the i3 levels. Thanks!
It's great to see analytic content for this game! I've got a slightly off-topic question, related to an older video: Do you have any data on how Thunderous Applause works for Regulus? If you can push her over 100% crit, she should convert the extra crit chance into critical damage, according to her own description of Restless Heart.
Hi! could you do a guide on eternity? It'll be nice if you can recommend the right team comp for her as I am torn between a eternity solo comp or one with a support and healer. Thanks!
unfortunately not really as every character has different requirements, some want more atk less crit, some want just atk, some more crit. the closest u can get to is using the damage formula to do the calculations yourself and estimate the gain by using simulated runs
When people say meta, does this mean some of these characters are NECESSARY to clear the hardest contents available in the future? I would personally like to build characters I like if possible and still clear endgame.
Nah don't stress too hard. Meta only means the quickest and easiest way to beat content, you'll be fine you've just gotta put in more effort on your end.
@@iamrivenous So which build should I even go for? I'm guessing I3 Lilya with Tooth Fairy can go for a mostly damage built without worrying so much about C Rate?

I think it depends on the character. My A knight got a noticeable boost after I3. I think the 10% penetration played a huge part on that though

I3 a character only when the passive given is cost-effective, like Eternity or Melania.

What is the top 3 damage character to combo bkornblume
Really great information! How do you get the final item for resonance 10? I only see it in a shop, but I can’t get the currency?
Very useful video, one question though, what level of resonance do i give my support (buffer/debuffer), and healers.
As R10 is timegated you want to priorize DPS over supports/healers. R9 will do very fine for non-dps but R5-7 is okay as well.
