Thank you for explaining what is truly a very confusing disease and lots of controversy in diagnosing, early detection is still the best, so important to get early screenings, thanks again.🙏
I think it would be nice if there was more studies on the different things that raise the psa. Cycling is not the only thing that raises it. In closing I will never forget the doctor that told me to get ready for death in November 1995 because of psa. Four months later I ran the 100th running of the Boston Marathon. That was over 28 years ago! I’m still running and back to training for a 1/2 marathon.
Very enlightening, I came here because my Dad 73 had a Psa test and it read 16.3ng/ml I was worried as doctors appointment is in 2weeks, so I came searchjng
Hi, great explanation, thanks. you mentioned at the beginning a series of video, I could not fine it in your channel playlist. would you please put the link in the description or here. thanks
Im 65yrs old and for the last 14 months my psa has been 12.4. My Urologist sent me for an MRI scan which showed no cancer only inflammation and enlarged prostrate. Urologist told me i have prostatitis and that is the reason for high psa level. I mentioned biopsy and he said their is no target for the needle as nothing is showing on mri scan. Im a little nervous as my dad and Grandad both passed away with prostrate cancer. This morning i had another psa done 2 months after my last psa. Im really hoping the psa level has come down🙏

wouldn't you want to undergo a prostate MRI first before getting a biopsy if the PSA levels are elevated?
