@@olddavid4 I could be mistaken, but the producers of these shows wanted perfection, hence the lip synced studio versions. Even way back to Ed Sullivan.
Love love Bryan Ferry and Roxy music. Seen them loads in the 70s and early 80s. Still have my Flesh and Blood pin that we all got given at that gig at the Apollo in Glasgow... im 64 nowvand still got a huuge crush ha ha. Replaced my LPs with cds.. never get tired of listening to any of them. ❤❤❤ to you Bryan. Xxx
why the hell do they cut it short?
Stoned like most of us were 😂
My guess is that it was performed on a live show and they were about to cut away to something else
Donno
Bowie was interviewed around 74 and said "Roxy Music are the only group worth listening to".
Bullshit, he was a Kraftwerk nut.
Bowie was so demented from drug abuse I'm surprised he could put a coherent sentence together *let alone work* as much as he did
ジュテームジュテーム
worth for listening but not worth watching.
urrmm who supported them on the last Spiders gig ?
Thank God you survived. I survived tongue and lymph node cancer 30 years ago. My faith, humor and great music like this got me through it. I wish you many happy times ahead! ❤❤❤❤🎉
Fire up the 450 SLC
Do a rail off the mirror you keep in the center console
Throw this cassette in the player, and
PUNCH IT
ah, the 80's.....
The bass is soooooo awesome!!! And when the tele comes in!!
Dominating bass line that's like a jungle beat...Amazing song considering how old it is...
Oh my god, this is so gorgeous! Blows almost everything else away. Still after all those years.
1975
For some reason the line "lumbered up, limbo down" has been stuck in my head for months. I FINALLY found the source!! Now I recall this awesome song & the itch has been scratched. THANKYOU!
Definitely something about Bryan in a uniform........😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Wow Brian Ferrari has such class...what a trooper , singing with a patch over his failed eyebrow transplant...what a hero...seriously, love Roxy and Ferry and Co have great taste in backing singers and album cover models
I'M a hard rocker at heart, but they played this many times at high school parties and I enjoyed dancing to it big time !!!
@Ronaldo Laquidara
I feel ya man 😈😈👍🎶🎸🎸
This music doesn t get old, so Ilisten it from the beginning till today. Nowadays we have not such good music any more, so give me a time.machine for to travel back in this interesting time.
this is a really hot bassline!
Thats 70s bass
Sleazy, Cynical and ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! Roxy Music at it's very best!
Was a teenager back then had no idea how unbelievably talented they were
Look at the size of those studio cameras for television!!! I had forgotten they were basically the size of a small refrigerator.
this is a really hot bassline!
Still great after all these years! Roxy Music!
One of the best bass lines ever. Genuinely genius level posters. Adore you Roxy yk
No one comes close to Ferry, he was without a doubt the king of cool!
+Home cooked Italian food made easy You probably never heard of David Bowie. Who remained cool all of his life and on top of that had some intelligent things to say in interviews. I also think Eno is far cooler (hate that word a bit) than Ferry. Ferry started off in great fashion, but over the years lost a lot of his excellence I think. But that is all taste and I know it...
What a band- what a time for music!
Absolutely love this song never gets old
Such a awesome band I wish people were cool like this now
This song and Both Ends Burning off Siren were, and still are, two of my favorites. So deep yet so superficially cool.
Bryan Ferry & Roxy Music ... ❤️🔥 🎤 ❤️🔥
Brian Ferry and his great band, one of my favorites, saw them live in Toronto
Bryan Ferry, WOW!!!!! Bring's back memorie's of my favorite time in the eightie's!!!!! Roxy Music is by far the coolest group ever!!! Their song's make you want to get up and MOVE, to their rythm!!!! Grab a partner, and just dance!!!!! Perfect music, from Roxy!!!!! From The Motor City, where we know music, get up and, DANCE!!!!!!
