Great first episode! I love the many interpretations of mythology that exist honestly, I think this series is gonna be epic.
As a side note, the stories I've heard of Typhon were hella chaotic. Typhon was designed to be stronger than the gods and a more than equal match for Zeus. He was taller than the highest mountain, had great wings, and over a thousand heads that all screamed and roared different animal sounds and languages. The guy was terrifying. All the other Olympians noped the hell out but Zeus stayed behind cause he wasn't about to lose all bis hard work for some giant dragon monstrosity. So they fought for months, destroying everything, till Typhon got the upper hand and ripped out Zeus's tendons and ran away to a cave to recover. Story varies a bit here but the version I like has Pan and Hermes come to check in on Zeus and only to find him flopped on the floor unable to move. They then start forming a plan to get the tendons back. They run into this young hero named Cadmus (he was in the middle of looking for his sister Europa whom Zeus had kidnapped awhile back. He was very unsuccessful) who they convince to go past Typhon's cave playing a pan pipe. Typhon is entranced by the music and begs him to continue and he says "Ya know I'd play a lot better on my lyre but all my strings snapped" and Typhon gives him Zeus's tendons/sinews to string it with. So he does and he plays a song that lulls Typhon to sleep and he sprints off to Zeus and all three of them put his tendons back in. His divineness heals him and he surprise attacks Typhon and defeats him

Can someone explain to me ........ How this channel is SSOOOO undersubbed ??? Every time I watch one of these videos it shocks the crap out of me that he doesn't have 1M AT LEAST !!
I'm not sure if people understand that it is so much more then fairy tales or if they think this is a Disney channel or what?. What I do know is I enjoy this channel SO MUCH the stories you THINK you grew up with are so much more brutal !!! They have been reworked and mis-told so many time its crazy.
    Thank. You

I love learning about new cultures and ideas whether they are from the past or rather someone made them up.
My favorite story that you covered with Sun, Moon and Talia; I often refer your channel to others who share the idea that learning the true origins of stories is fun or those who like to see the messed up side of life, I am always excited whenever you release new videos because I don't get to see and learn things that I never knew. I am a solo fan for life even if I miss a week's worth of videos I always seek out your videos and re-watch everything. Your UA-cam channel is not only entertaining but educational and that is why I will always be your dedicated fan for life.
    Solo fan forever!!!

It's interesting to see the mesh-up of Greek & Roman myth/lore in this. Greek: Hermes, Aphrodite, Aries, Zues. Roman: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter. Eros is the Roman version of the Greek Cupid. Those were just from the top of my head. I don't know who the Greek versions of Saturn, Uranus, or Neptune are. Of course, Pluto doesn't count...or does he? They keep changing it. Nor do I know who the Roman versions of Discord, Athena, or Hera are.
DOH! I just realized that I forgot Neptune is Poseidon. Of course, I don't know the Roman version of Hades, either.

hes only really mentioned as praising forcfull punishment of Prometheus and pushing for a more harsh punishment.
