God forbid the companies that actually make the software take the responsibility for securing the accounts. This is going to be a major pain. And within a couple of years, we'll be at three factor and/or retina scans.
I feel like the retina scan might eventually come🤔

I am in securinty and most customers that come to me after the fact were hacked and robbed DUE TO 2FA. I found your video because a site will not let me access my funds until I set it up and I am looking for the least destructive (least risky) way of using it to satisfy the site without putting everything else I have at risk.
How did they get robbed because of 2FA? How would not having 2FA have stopped them being hacked?

If the user has no mobile phone or tablet; how would it work in that case? I know it sounds improbable, but there are folks out there that don't have mobile devices.
Security fobs, e-mail and even audible via phone are potential options.

That's secure but authentication apps have the benefit of not requiring any internet connection
I made a alot of accounts and im gonna setup 2fa on all them i probably like 3 passwords thats not alot oh sorry.

If you use 2FA on Discord, you loose your backup codes then not even Discord can help you!
So put your backup codes in a safe place
You should have an extra device handy that's also using the authentication app.

Right, I'll add an app to my phone that most likely tracks me wherever I go and sends that information to some cloud that can get hacked. Plus, they I'm sure they sell this data to everyone in the world.

Passwords just aren't sufficient for your important accounts - that's a fact of life that must now be accepted and 2fa is the single best way to protect your accounts

2FA is the wrong solution for a problem created by other people.
The criminals are getting better all the time - we all need to up our game to stay safe - passwords are not good enough, they can be guessed, hacked and intercepted
@@grassytramtracks 2FA does not protect against being a blooming idiot. Safe passwords are easy and they do not have to be stored at all.
As for intercepting, you must have been making a lot of mistakes before that is even possible and your twitter account credentials should be the last thing to worry about in that case.
Do you really thing a password like for instance "morsebeerdriver" will be either guessed or brute forced?
TFA just means a second attack vector.
